Great Place to stay if visiting Kanchanaburi”
Great value for the money. The only improvable aspect I would recommend: The shower water temperature is very, very unpredictable, the mattresses are hard. Besides that it is a GREAT value and nice, clean place to stay.

new and nice hotel with acceptable price. you need to have a car to access this hotel. TV channels are so limited and half of them are unwatchable. overall is a nice hotel, better than staying by the river with higher rate.

Everything is nice at this 'place, but unfortunately they went for the cheap option of extremely hard mattresses, it really is as hard as sleeping on the floor. I highly reccommend the management to at least change half of the hotel to a normal type of mattress, it really is very hard.

This is a very nice hotel, spacious clean rooms, good shower, air con, lovely pool area and big car park. I always stay here when visiting Kanchanaburi, your own transport is an absolute must.

The staff here is gentle and kind but overall the room is dirty, bed hard as rock, even needs to pay extra to buy toothbrush (btw the toothbrush is like the brush for cleaning my shoes, teeth bleeding like sh*t) personally I don’t recommend this hotel, make me feel like back to ancient times…

A little out of the way but great place”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Prelude. The pool is fantastic, the breakfast is good (well except the coffee) and the hotel is big and has everything you need. The only down side is that you really need your own transport as it is almost a 15 minute drive from the main (tourist) part of town. This being said I think that to get the most out of Kanchanaburi you really should have a car available. They also don't

Empty place, no soul or Wi-fi either”
Weird staying in a huge hotel with approx 2 other guests. Wi-fi didn’t work in my room. I chewed through my data before complaining and they offered to move me just before my second night. I was too fed up to actually move. The hotel is empty and they put me in a room without Wi-fi. Breakfast was very ordinary. Instant coffee with CoffeeMate™. One tiny bit of bacon. Pool looked nice. It was the only thing that actually seemed to be open.

I am an experienced SEA traveler. This hotel is 2 years old. Great facilities. .. great pool... good service... good food... staff more than helpful. Yes... cost is around $47 -$50 a night... but so worth it for 1 night or more. Treat yourself for once!!!! Great parking also. Location is within manageable distance from historical sites and local markets. Hotel can arrange trips/transportation if need be. Perfect all round.

The hotel outside, lobby, facilities, rooms, ...: definitely value for money. Also the restaurant would be BUT: after a long-day event we arrived at the restaurant 8:40pm (room service according leaflet to 9:30pm) and were very hungry. The waitress + waiter (afraid to come alone?) came to tell us (after we'd been studying the menu for a few minutes) that they couldn't serve any food as "cook already left home" ... This was at least 50 minutes too early but what can one do but accept it? Luckily we have our own transport, if a taxi dropped you at the hotel being remotely located you'll suffer from hunger until next morning as in the hotel you can't even get a dry slice of bread when the cook's gone home. And when I , 10 minutes later, walked to the car to drive somewhere for a take-out meal, I saw the cook leaving just then ... So they just told us lies instead of telling us that they were too lazy to serve any more customers. Unacceptable. Breakfast was OK for the price we paid.
