PERFECT HOTEL”
I loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect as I was attending an event at the MCG. The room on the executive floor exceeded expectation. Very clean, bed was so comfortable and the view over the MCG was gorgeous. The executive lounge was the perfect place to have breakfast and read the paper. Staff went above and beyond, so polite, friendly and willing to assist. I cant wait to come back for the tennis.

Comfortable and contemporary but don’t expect them to go out of their way for anything extra ”
Lovely facilities, clean, comfortable and modern. Was fully booked out though, so don’t expect staff to accomodate any special requests. We were celebrating our 10 yr wedding anniversary and nothing was offered. And no later check out, even though we asked.

Great hotel inadequte check in service ”
Hotel has the perfect location, if you plan to watch a game at the MCG or a concert. Only 5mins walk. 30mins walk to CBD, or just few steps away to the central park. Room is adequate size. Breakfast also has great selection. Nevertheless, upon my arrival at approximately 13:15, I encountered a hiccup during check-in. Despite the standard check-in time being 2:00 PM, I was informed that my requested single king twin room was not yet available. However, there are couple guests check in before me all got given a room. Beside, the receptionist said to me, its because of me requested of the twin beds, therefore the housekeeping will have to take extra time to separate and make the beds, please don't make it sounds like its my fault for the delay, your hotel should have those room ready for guests, I have requested the room when I made the booking, and also double confirmed, reminded 2weeks before my arrival. I asked her to check with housekeeping, approximately when will the room to be ready, she refused. After 5 mins I walked out of hotel, I received the text said my room is ready. I would like to ask is this a joke? or is she just doesn't want to serve me? Fortunately, the experience took a positive turn during check-out, as the gentleman manning the front desk exhibited exceptional professionalism, courtesy, and helpfulness, thereby leaving a favourable lasting impression despite the initial inconvenience encountered.

We were upgraded to a an executive room which has access to the executive lounge. It was a nice surprise which we wished we could have stayed for more days to enjoy the facilities. The room was comfortable and the view was great. Service staff at the reception were also very friendly.

Perfect location if you have an event at the MCG (it’s across the road)! Easy access to the CBD with the train and tram line right out front. Quiet, clean and super friendly staff. Facilities were great. Room service at midnight, food still exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay and felt it was worth the money.
