Great location and value for money”

Hotel in undergoing renovations. Be sure to get a deluxe room for more modern finishings. Was noisy with travellers coming in late at night as well as the construction in the mornings.

Premium location for the price”

Pleasant, relaxing. The nicest people in the world are from the Philippines, some of them are at rainforest. I did not need any assistance and none was forced upon me. For this I was quite pleased. If you are someone who requires to be waited on and catered to, this may not be for you. But for me it was on the water, right in the middle of the beach, away from the noisy craziness and with a fantastic porch.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, NO HOT WATER, X JACUZZI”

Very very VERY BAD. i was in rainforest (formerly BEACHFRONT hotel) way back 2013?.. the staff was nice (sir armstrong go). i came back thinking the service and the value for money was same. i came back FEB 2016, together with my family from the states and paid for 3 nights in one of their room with jacuzzi. room 203 if im not mistaken. we were snobbed when we checked in and was shocked at the front desk of a very unpleasant intern desk officer who keeps on eyeing us from head to toe. thinking that we are already paid full via agoda. we asked her if they have extra room for 2 she said none. we went out of the hotel and searched for room and was exhausted. we booked online for room and saw there was an extra room available. we booked online while outside the street and was shocked that the girl in the front desk said there was none. there were other complainant that day, from canada, and a group from another country. they seated on the stairs and was shocked that they booked online and there was no available room. we booked too online. then when we got to the front desk, i showed the booking reference and said there was no room available. it was given to an agoda customer an hour ago. we checked in at around 4. we booked online at around 5.. then SOMEONE booked ONLINE at around 630... I cant believe it! the girl said there was no room wasted energy walking and searching. she couldve said there was a room available. the older guy was shouting "you should ask agoda first if there is room!! who would you believe? US OR AGODA? all AGODA DOES IS GET YOUR MONEY. TALK TO AGODA, THATS NOT OUR PROBLEM" WHAT A STAFF!!

Careful with bookings”

I had booking via Agoda for standard room, but they said there is no standard room, only the expensive one. Although I booked 2 boat trip, and left lot of money with them, I had to look for another hotel for the 3rd night.

Rainforest beach Hotel ”

My stay was ok. I'm not the kind of guy who usually complains but it has to be said. I had to book a deluxe room as they didn't have standard rooms anymore. The room was definitely better but $60 a night! Come on! Moreover, I asked to clean my room 4 times. I asked at 9am the first time, the staff was making the room in front of mine. 2pm they had not done it yet and were cleaning the room downstairs. I think it was on purpose. Anyway, The staff is not really friendly except Ronaldo who is very nice. No breakfast included for the price. Overall, pleasant stay at el nido because it's really amazing over there and I was not often in my room. Rooms are a way too expensive, so I don't know if I would stay there again. I met many people with cool rooms for much cheaper.

EL NIDO”

My stay was ok. No more no less. Standard rooms are basic. One comfy bed, one shower. That's it. But a way too expensive for what it is. No breakfast included.

Too expensive for the conditions ”

We booked 4 nights and nobody cleaned the room. There is no breakfast included opposit of the others hotels.

The hotel is not even a night, I had a room with a whirlpool, which does not work! No hot water at the dirt and noise ... other rooms are even worse! wifi was too bad, I do not recommend anyone for money seating better !!!

Worst hotel in El Nido. ”

We decided to go to another hotel. When we arrived at the Rainforest Hotel, the room we booked was disgusting and dirty. There was on going building works and things in room where broken. Toilet seat, tv, lights. We losr our money we paid for the room which was 11,000 php. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. Please do not waste your money. There are better beach huts to rent. Which would probably be cleaner.

Good location, poor staff”

Good room standard for el nido. But that goes for the first night. They did not clean the room during our three night visit and since the hotel is just by the beach you will bring sand to the room. We did not feel welcome, the hotel staff seemed botherd to have guests at all. Watching TV and sleeping in the lobby is more their cup of tea. Rooms facing the street is quite noisy with thin walls, we could sleep through this but if you are sensitive avoid geting those rooms.

People always expect too much from El Nido! I stayed in 3 different hotels on my resent trip and definetely this was the best from the 3 accommodations. Beds are good, A/C and electricity all day, ONE OF THE BEST WIFI's around and the family that runs it is lovely, they even allowed me to keep the room until 7 pm

We got there late evening and we were helped right away. Left the next day so wouldn't be able to rate the facilities as much. Room was OK nothing extraordinary but I guess you can get better quality for the money you pay.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!! DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!”

As we got down from our rented van, big rubbish/dump are piled in front of their hotel, not a good way in welcoming a guest. Enter into their reception, a foul smell will greet you, a messy and dirty reception with unfriendly staff. As they only have one poor thin boy, probably the son's owner who carried our luggages upstairs, so we have to carry the rest. On our way to the room, there's construction going on, which makes the room provided to us, dirty, filthy, smelly and all the bad things you could ever imagine. with their hotel and room condition, it is way way way too over charge. As we could not stand the smell and the dirty conditions of the rooms, we decided to look somewhere else, with the hope that we will get something back. I was hoping Agoda can help us out on this one, but looks like the greedy owner didn't want to return our money back. Their jacuzzi is just a display, if you run the tap and fill it, it will take a day before it's filled. There's no hot water, but hey, there's a bucket and a scoop if you want to shower!!! And if you want an air freshener, no problem, they have plenty in their toilet, which by the way doesn't work as the smell is unbearable. The bed sheets are just as horrible, also, the aircon doesn't work, it is so hot and lots of mosquitoes, with the amount that we pay, it is not something we expect at all. I'D LIKE TO WARN ALL TRAVELERS, IF YOU HAPPEN TO SEE RAINFOREST HOTEL IN EL NIDO, DON'T BELIEVE IN THEIR WEBSITE PHOTOS, ALL ARE LIES, THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER SEEN.

Management”

The location is great the management is not. when we get there we checked in right away and when we enter our room it was a big surprise seing the rotten fish on the table and the smell of the room. We had to wait at least an hour for the staff to clean our room ! The family of the owner of the hotel Is in there 24/7 They Dine in the lobby and stay there for the whole day which i find very not professional the Lobby is for the guest to rest down for whenever they want to go out of their room and chill ! but instead the family takes over that Part of the hotel the Receptionist Doesnt even smile nor greet us not even once !

The beach front rooms are awesome. Staffs are friendly, location is perfect.

Not bad for what you pay”

Room was nice. We had the room with the hot tub. The water pressure was very poor, it took, over on hour to use the tub it was so slow to fill. Power was good, one review I read said only 12 hours, but there was power 24 hours. Views were great, but the curtains were very thin and didn't block the light, so plan on getting up early. Also, with the bars being so close you might not get to bed early.

The location of was excellent as many restaurants and shops were walking distance from the hotel. That being said, I will not stay at this hotel again. I didn't think it was particularly clean and the internet was unstable.

If you like toilet paper this is not your spot. We had to go and buy our own toilet paper and the next morning when the maid cleaned our room she took the toilet paper and we had to go buy more. It was crazy.
