Beautiful resort in the jungle”
I can only say good things about this place! My children and I had a wonderful and pleasure stay. Beautifully looked after even though it is located in the middle of a jungle. Surrendered by nature, it is the perfect place to relax. Although there is not much sign of civilization around (so do not expect to escape to the nearest city easily), the resort offers some internal and external activities. Walking distance, there is an interesting cave full of bats located in a National Park. Most exciting for us was going Bamboo rafting in the river Kwai to visit a Mon tribe and swam back to the resort. There is also some entertainment offered by the hotel, like a Mon dancing show, but that was temporarily cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Staff was really polite and servicial at all times and accommodated all our requests efficiently. Rooms were comfortable and clean and surprisingly (given the hostile environment) insects/bugs/animals free! Overall, we loved our stay and we will certainly be back when visiting Kanchanaburi.

What a beautiful cottages”
We loved everything about the Resotel. The staff is super cheery and happy and smiling. We also stayed one night at the sister hotel "Float House" where staff was very grumpy and lacklustre or unmotivated (and price is very high). The staff at Resotel created so much good energy and happiness and really looked like they had fun among the staff. The cottage/bungalows at riverfront are so nice, maybe the best I have ever been in in such a remote area. Bathroom looks so nice as well as the main room with many beautiful wooden elements. It has a lovely garden, pool and great kitchen for diner. What is not to like here? Check-in was only a little bit chaotic....

Amazing place!”
The pictures doesn’t give back how great this place is. The trees, the flowers, the different plants…just absolutely incredible. It is also next to the river & there are many nice little paths to walk around. If you love to be in nature this is your resort! Although it is a bit far from Kanchanaburi main city, they organize trips for you. We did a one day Erawan waterfall trip from there and it was great. The food is good (service can be a bit slow but it’s okay) & the stuff is super super nice! We did one night in the jungle chalet & one night in the delux room (as we extended our stay) & both were really great. Highly recommend to anyone!

Staff and Cleaniness”
The location was away from the city centre of Bangkok which made it a great and perfect place to escape reality. The place was a pleasure and it was the same as the pics shown in the slideshow on Agoda. The staff there were very helpful and friendly, my family and I felt welcomed and the room is surprisingly clean though it locates in the middle of the greenery.

Whenever we go on vacation, we always apply the principle "value for the money" when selecting the accommodation. The place certainly meets the principle. The River Kwai Resotel is a riverfront, clean, great breakfast, friendly staff, and a good-size swimming pool. Make sure to stop at At Wild. A local coffee shop with great food and a nice yard.

Very nice for long stay”
I've booked here 3 days then extended for more. If you get the building which close to the river, that would be very cool. Day1: after breakfast, in the afternoon, you can walk around the hotel. There are many spots for taking picture. Day2: can go to Lawa cave, pool or river activities. Day3: can go to Mon village then relaxing in the afternoon. At night we drive to see wild elephants about 50mins drive. Super cool place.!

Wonderful stay!”
We really enjoyed our stay here and the bungalow we had for two nights. Restaurant was really good we had breakfast and dinner there both days and liked all meals we had. The grounds of hotel are really nice and many paths leading through resort and to the two pools and the river. What made our stay extra special was the staff that could not have made our stay any more enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back.

Best place in Sai Yok”
I’ve been to Sai Yok for many times and stayed in different places but River Kwai Resotel is the best place so far! The room is sparkling, the view is marvelous, the floating activity was fun with reasonable price! Only the location is quite out of any convenient place so I suggest to bring everything you need there! The food was fine, a bit over price. I will definitely return on my next stay!!!!

Beautiful location. Peaceful surrounds. Great room, which was very functional and clean. The grounds are exceptional, with plenty to see and do. Nice pool and pool bar. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was quite good in general.

Love this place very relax view is nice but I think dinner buffe is 550 thb, for the evening show must take the boat to another place which is disappoint because we come with elder.

Excellent Resort!”
We went for a mid-week break - a great location by the river; quiet and clearly a lot of effort has gone into planning and outfitting the resort. Staff were helpful, the dining facilities fine. a good base from which to explore upper Kanchanaburi. Try the river cruise (early morning). Our visit was during the COVID crisis and the staff were very professional in the way this was managed.

Superb Resort”
I have to add that we were upgraded as they are presently renovating rooms....BUT.... this is a superb location on the river, spectacular view of the river, can arrive and depart by free resort long tail boat, or drive the hugely scenic ( difficult to find ) small winding roads. Superb pool and everything about the resort, close to WW2 Hellfire Pass......, super place.

Amazing”
Situated a couple of hours from Bangkok is this beautiful and relaxing resort. Room that we booked was absolutely amazing, good size, lovely bed, big bathroom and an outdoor jacuzzi. The place is so quiet and peaceful. We only stayed two nights but wish we had spent more. We will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work

Serene Secret River Kwai Jungle Heaven Hideaway ”
If you’re lucky to travel this far, you will be pleasantly in awe at the sheer beauty and serenity of this pristinely up kept jungle hideaway. If you’re into caves, there is a breathtaking Lawa Cave attraction within walking distance of the resort. A true gem to be nearby and meditate inside.
