I hv a pleasant holiday here with Ralf room. Stay near nature . But shuttle boat to Hotspring is less frequent, should hv every hour. It’s better to hv some food sell at Hotspring too. Appreciate for staff honest to return deposit money after checkout since I forgot. Tks

Relaxing Getaway from the Crowds ”

Pros: Gorgeous hotel; big room (Thai Raft); clean; good air con; relaxing atmosphere; 20 second boat ride to the onsen, which is unbelievable (it has 15 separate onsen pools); good food; friendly staff; If you want to get out of Bangkok (or any craziness in Thailand) and want to relax and chill out, this is the place; right on the Kwai River Cons: They have live music around 6pm, which can get noisy, especially if you want to relax quietly! You have to climb many steps to get around but oh well; about a 4-hour ride from central Bangkok; other than that, nothing really

Perfect spot for family.”

I love the location and the activities the hotel offered. Accomodations are beautiful with 3 beautiful swiming pool. Staff are polite. We had perfect holiday.

River view hotel with many pools on large property area”

+ very large property area, supposedly full in bloom in the high season (Q4-Q1) + [many] rooms with a direct view on the Khwae river + many pools (>3 large pools, with slides for kids, etc.) + excellent choice of (mostly Thai) food at breakfast + kind staff - many buildings are a little bit outdated (as is common in TL), but still good and clean. The new buildings and pool on the east side are modern and the rooms look great.

Good place for activities and fun”

This hotel is 60km far from the main city and on the bank of river which make it beautiful place to stay. Having said that if you pay extra money, you can utilize various activities over there. From example archery, paintball, atv, dtv and various massages.

ممتاز”

I stayed at this raft room for 3 days and 2 nights during the weekdays. It was peaceful and the staffs were friendly. Nothing really stood out for me except for the extreme sports, which some were limited to group of people. So, if you are a lone traveler, keep in mind that there’re limited numbers of things you could do. Furthermore, if you are having trouble with your knees, I seriously do NOT recommending this place due to numerous steps that you have to walk uphills. I got quite a workout from just walking from my room to the cafeteria. I didn’t do the spa thing. It just wasn’t for me. I love that there are 3 pools that I could choose to swim within the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my extreme sport activities and serenity of the place. It’s a decent place if you’re there as a group.

Old room and no onsen in the resort”

No have onsen. If you want to onsen bath, you need to ride a boat across the river and spent additional costs. Which the most of customers are foreigners. The room is old but clean and spacious.

Hotel in forest and river. We enjoy hot spring. Only bad thing is weak wi-fi

We stayed at river wing where the rooms are too old including old style TV (20 years ago), noisy air con with water dripping. One night there was electrical short circuit for the air con too. Good that the hotel move us to a brand new wing (cliff wing) for the last night of stay. The rooms on river wing and mountain wing must be renovated before offering to customers.

All I can say is that the room is very old, like you travel back in time for 10+ years. To charge your mobile device, you have to unplug a head lamp in order to find one to for your adapter. TV is a CRT screen, old refrigerator, etc. One good thing is location of the room on the river bank is good.

Nice Hotel resort right on the river”

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Facilities were ok, but not much served for breakfasts. Lovely location right on the River Kwai, and it was great to stay on a room on one of the river rafts right on the river. Location is out on its own, so it’s fine if you’re looking for a quiet place, but not great if you’re looking to be near other activities.

Perfect place to relax ”

We stayed in the floating bangalows with my girlfriend and we enjoyed a lot. Very causy place with so many facilities and away from every noisy activity.

Nice location with close to nature ”

Nice to stay with close to riverside. It is quite and nice atmosphere. there are many activities you can choose when you stay here. Especially, I recommend to use the hot spring spa. It is 2 min away by boat. appx. 3 hours spending there.

Disappointing”

The resort is worn down, room was moist, old TV and only 5 channels, all Thai and with snow on the picture. Hot water doesn't get to much over lukewarm, toilet flush handle was broken almost all the way off. Staff at check in was rather rude and upset that she could not get a Thai ID, although I showed her my Thai driving license, also wanted one from nanny who was not staying there. Room service overpriced and not very good but deliver fast and open long. Info folder outdated, for instance phone numbers are not correct. Pool was nice, but old and not at all kid friendly. We had both a frog and a scorpion in the room during a 2 night stay & for unknown reasons the room phone was called at 5 and 6 am. Hard bed & pillow. A car is mandatory to stay here.

I stayed in a raft room on the river, and it was a good experience, but that’s all. The rooms are old and in need of major repairs, no hot water for the shower for 2 days, even after asking reception for someone to repair it. My shower didn’t drain properly, so it just filled with water. Forget dining in the restaurant, take the 10 kilometre trip into the nearest town to dine at another restaurant. The hotel restaurant was appalling, the food inedible, one mouthful of the dishes was all that could be managed, the staff where not interested in serving you, they where too busy watching the television, or asleep. The breakfast is worse, half cooked eggs with cold bacon and stale fruit, served by totally uninterested staff. The hotel itself is old and run down, beautiful location and gardens, but that’s the only good thing about this hotel. I could never recommend it.
