My stay at Ruen Maihom was delightful. The rooms are modern, well appointed, and spacious. The bed was comfortable, and I had an excellent night's sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke English well. I loved the grassy area and the pool down by the river. The views are gorgeous, and it is a wonderful area to relax and swim. Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway.

Peaceful place to stay”

Very cozy and peaceful place. The room is clean and cozy. the resort locates on the Kwai riverside which is lovely location. The buildings' decoration is simply but classy, and staff are very nice. You can also choose your breakfast from the 3 dishes : 1.ABF, 2. garlic pork and fried egg, and 3. porridge with minced pork.

Amazing place to stay”

The location near the river curve is amazing with pool next to the river bank. The place is very quiet and cozy - good for someone who really wants to relax. The owner lady is very gracious and welcoming. This place is surely better than other bigger places in Kanchanaburi!

A lovely spot surrounded by peace and quiet”

Beautiful cosy resort right on the river. Clean comfortable rooms and very helpful staff made us feel at home throughout our stay. The pool will keep kids entertained and the river is a great jump off point to visit the many tourist attractions of the Kanchanaburi province. Recommended!

Nice place and peaceful. The rooms are clean. All staff are very nice. They can contact with the boatman if you need to find the river trip.

Exceptionally clean and tidy, the staff and owner are really friendly and helpful, has a great swimming pool and good value breakfast. located on the river but about 5 Klms out of town so you really need your own transport to stay here.

I usually don't give 10/10, but in this case I will. Read reviews upfront and some people say it's pretty remote. I don't think it was. It isn't in the city centre, but it's just a 5 minute drive with the local tuktuk/taxi so I really don't see the problem. The rooms are really nice and clean, big enough so you can move around to. The pool is an infinity pool that oversees the river, which is just magical. The staff is also amazingly sweet. We got there just over 6p.m. and the kitchen was already closed. Getting there pretty tired we asked what were the other options to go eat without having to go to the city: eventually they just agreed to re-open the kitchen and cook us some diner. It was a traditionel Thai dish and it was incredibly good. Breakfast are really elaborate aswell. They also give you all the information you need/want to go visit the nearby attractions. I would most definitely come back here and tell everybody I know about this place! Oh yeah: WiFi was also great

No complains - we loved it. But we think its a bit too expensive. Unless they add more value. Rooms are pretty standard. And there's nothing much to do except swim and resort grounds are pretty small.
