It was alright”

I chose this place for it's location with a good view to the Abusir pyramids which was not open to the public. This did not disappoint as there was a good view of Abusir and even the archaeologists working there especially from the rooftop. The rooftop area as good, and I went up there to watch the partial lunar eclipse. There was just one or two parking spots for cars and a little difficult to maneuver and turn the car around. It's not far from Saqqara as well, a middle location between Cairo and Saqqara. I enjoyed the homemade breakfast made by the wife of the owner. The owner was very friendly and they also live in there downstairs. The room itself was ok but the toilet was below average. The house actually has some style and has a nice atmosphere. But it's a little run down so a bit rusty and dusty. The facility claimed to have free WIFI, but the cables were cut off the time I was there. The owner claimed to be waiting for people to come fix it, but nothing was fixed during my 2 days there, and I personally don't feel it's going to get fixed since the cut cables seem dated. I think it's more prudent to expect there's be no WIFI there
