Still excellent after 11 years later”
My first stay at the Sofitel Metropole was over 11 year ago. I am so happy things are still top notch. The front desk, house cleaning, restaurant and gym staff are kind and professional. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Coming back to the hotel after 8 hrs of meetings was a perfect place to relax and recharge for the next day. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
Three Night Stay”
Everything you would expect from a global brand in this price bracket. Great experience from pre-arrival through to departure. Professional, attentive, courteous staff. Excellent turn down service. Comfortable rooms. Good location. Easy access to airport (45 minutes close to rush hour on a week day). Would return - much nicer than the Capella which is opposite and somewhat gawdy.

Very good experience”
Location is good in btw old qtr and French qtr and easy access to eatery. Staff are very attentive, room is clean and superb. The only set back was that the toilet has no water bidet. The rest are excellent
One of the worst experiences at checking-in”
We are regular visitors at the Metropole and in general have been satisfied with the establishment. However, we experienced one on the worst experiences during our recent stay. The attitude of the staffs at the check-in counter was shocking. The way they treated and responded to us were borderline insulting, one staff even made a sarcastic joke and laughed at us as he was looking away. To make matter worst, we left a complaint email to the hotel but received no response. We won’t be coming back there again.
