Despite the internet, everything was nice. The wifi which is only available at the restaurant is very very very week.

Everything is good . Facilities are good. Staff very friendly and helpful Food is delicious, overpriced but good. However, no convenience store available . My room view blocked by electrical wire . So couldn’t get the best view that claimed by the resort. Overall my stay was good. 3/5

If you plan to book a stay at Barat Resort, please note that you will need to arrange a 4x4 car transfer from Tekek Ferry, as the resort is located up a hill, approximately a 30-minute journey. The transfer costs RM30 per adult and RM20 per child. I booked a 3-day, 2-night stay in a seafront view room with two queen-sized beds on the second floor, but no breakfast was included. The room condition needs significant improvement. The door still uses a manual key, and the TV does not support Netflix and only offers basic channels. If you want to watch free movies, you can request a hard drive from the reception to connect to the TV. Don't expect high-quality beds, pillows, or fresh white towels like you would find in a 5-star hotel; the room amenities are quite basic. The overall cleanliness wasn't great, and there is a lot of room for improvement. The bathroom is spacious and free of stains, but the toilet bowl looks quite old and could use a replacement, though it is still clean to use. We booked the four-island snorkeling tour, which cost RM140 per adult and RM120 per child. The tour runs from 9 am to 1pm and does not include lunch, just biscuits and mineral water. In my opinion, they should provide some light snacks. That said, the island tour and snorkeling experience were amazing, and we have no regrets. We had lunch and dinner at nearby restaurants, with prices starting from RM15 onwards. I believe the prices are on the higher side due to inflation and the recent decline in the Malaysian Ringgit.

Enjoy the ball games provided there, including table tennis, volleyball and soccer. Like the hammock and resting chair along the beach. It was really chilling. We spent our whole free time outside by the beach after snorkelling. It would be much nicer if the cleanliness can be improved - how to prevent roaches from drainage holes and provide flawless towels during the stay. Overall, the experience was superb. And you can find Malay eatery shops within walking distance.

Our stay was 2N3D used standard family room, welcome drinks are provided at reception, Barat located in front of wide clean beach with private area to relax , comfortable sitting area , we used our own BBQ at night, not much crowded, rooms are very comfortable and clean, resort staff is very helpful while leaving we forgot some stuff at reception area on our request staff handed over our items at requested place. I would rate barat one of the best resort to stay and relax. Suggestion- to add tea or coffee pouches at room as basic needs. Reachability- nearest Juara Mutiara ferry point around 1km to Barat resort, 2nd option Tekek ferry point which another side of hill have to take car to resort.
