Beautiful Stay Location ”
This is the most expensive I've paid yet for an overnight stay and it was beautiful and we loved our garden suite. Would love to have stayed another night! I did find that the sink in the bathroom (single) was very shallow aside from single and made it difficult to rinse wine glasses, fill a kettle etc in such a shallow sink. I would recommend given there's plenty of space they upgrade to a much deeper basin with a higher tap. It was lovely to be able to make a pod coffee in the room, however there were only 2 pods of coffee and 2 pods of decaffeinated coffee. It would have been nicer to have a few more as we could only have one coffee each. Also the mini bar filled the fridge which was very small leaving almost no room for any of your own items like cheese or milk. But the garden suite was lovely and had an entrance foyer separated from the main room which would be lovely for staying with friends to "have them around " or to sit on the deck together perhaps with some rearranging of chairs. We opted for breakfast at Eighty-Eight and there were gf options for us, excellent service and the food was delicious. Id tried to get a dinner reservation at Circa 1876 on the property but due to a wedding booking it was not available. We stayed on a Sunday evening as we were supposed to go to the Crowded House concert at Bimbadgen which was cancelled but we couldn't cancel the accommodation and had to go anyway. A shame in the sense that it's a very expensive exercise as they'll reschedule the concert and we had to make a lot of arrangements to be able to go away but on the plus side we spent more time in our suite and enjoyed the room longer. There is a pool but it's an outdoor pool so it's not used much other than warmer months. I do not think there was a gym. On arrival hotel information was available by scanning a QR code but I didn't end up doing that as we were pretty busy exploring locally the beautiful surroundings and taking pictures and exploring other propertie
Beautiful place to stay”
My son and I stayed here to attend a concert. The staff are exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The grounds are just lovely. We didn't use any of the facilities but they looked great. Breakfast was outstanding. Would stay again.
Beautiful setting ”
The building is beautifully maintained, with spacious, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. More of a guesthouse than an hotel, though, as there are few facilities, only a pool. Lovely for a short getaway and centrally located in Hunter Valley.

Spent only one night here but could have definitely have stayed longer. Attentive, friendly staff, beautiful gardens, comfortable bed and really good breakfast included in the cost.
