CHANDELIERS!”
Chandeliers! Chandeliers everywhere! Lots of them and lots of mirrors around. It sounds gaudy but it isn’t. It’s elegant without being over the top. The staff is nice and helpful, but housekeeping is available only by request. We requested service but they only replaced towels and not the bedding and didn’t really clean anything. Not a huge deal and not worth complaining about for me but something to consider. The rooms are pretty standard but i have a few complaints. The bed is not super comfy, but we slept well anyway. The curtains can’t be closed so forget a blackout sleep. The bathroom is lovely though. Two sinks and mirrors and a nice shower stall. On-site amenities include a great bar (Chandelier Bar), Italian restaurant (Salvatore’s) and a seafood bistro (Perla). We ordered tacos from Perla for room sercvice and they were great. We ate from Salvatore’s menu in the bar and the food was pretty good (risotto a little too salty, but bruschetta was EXCELLENT). Anyway, pretty decent hotel but not really close to anything of note.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Delavan Hotel! The attention to detail and guest comfort was evident throughout my visit. The ambience of the hotel is pure class. The complimentary coffee in the lobby was a delightful touch, helping me start my mornings off right. The check-in process was a breeze and the rooms were not only spacious but also impeccably clean and well-maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Surprisingly, the view from my room was unexpectedly pleasant for a hotel so close to the airport, adding an extra layer of charm to the experience. One of the standout features was the ample parking space at the back of the building, making parking a breeze. Furthermore, the strategic location near two gas stations make it a perfect pit stop for road trippers. The convenience factor cannot be overstated. Overall, my stay at the Delavan Hotel was nothing short of excellent. The combination of thoughtful amenities, comfortable rooms, and convenient location makes this a top choice for any traveler. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip through the area! I highly recommend The Delavan!
Nice, older hotel”
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Delvan hotel. I was looking for a hotel near the airport but didn't want to stay in a chain hotel. This hotel popped up and offered a nice restaurant and bar, so I decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did. We were amazed at the happy hour prices on drinks and food at the bar, and the room was beautiful. There were parts of the hotel that reminded me of a funeral home (the hallway where the washrooms were at the back of the building near the conference/banquet rooms) and I joked that the hotel was likely haunted. Additionally, the barbie doll display case in the women's washroom (in the haunted hallway) was a little weird and the 3D decor on the washroom door was creepy. But that is what gave the hotel character, and I would go back because it made for a great conversation between my husband and I!

Comfortable stay”
We found the hotel to be comfortable, clean, and provided good overall value. Everything is quite modern and well kept. A couple of issues during our stay. The shower head was not working properly and the hotel staff was notified. Also I found the TV was quite slow during peak times and can see this being an issue for some. The rooms are not the most quiet. I would consider coming back as we enjoyed the overall stay and comfort.

Stayed for a weekend. Facility was very clean and beautiful. Both the hotel lounge and restaurant were also 5 star. Overall great experience!
