Great Escape in Paradise”
We had the best x4 nights as the accommodation caters for everything and it’s really comfortable. The plunge pool was a real bonus. Plus the use of things like bat and ball, beach mats and towels. The host even lent us a football for our boys to play with. The free cold drinks on arrival were a real treat - a free mini bar! The location was on the best beach of the island and chalets were so quiet at night but still had things to do. Especially just round the bay or up at the CBar restaurant which has the best sunsets and view. The host and his wife were super helpful in helping us with the best restaurants and bars. We loved the street stalls just out from the chalets on the main road but also ate a couple of times on the beach which was minutes away and reasonably priced. Our host gave us a great motorbike for us to use and it meant if anything went wrong he was on hand to look after us. He even got our ferry tickets to Koh Toa and drove us to the port which saved us money. We can’t wait to go back again. It was such a great find and Koh Panghan is a great, laid back island to explore with fab beaches

Amazing place to unwind! ”
Stayed here for 1.5weeks. I stayed in chalet 7 and it was facing the driveway which was the one I didn’t want after seeing reviews but it is actually really private and they don’t have cars coming and going a lot. The staff are exceptional and Tom (think that’s the Thai guys name that manages it) was so attentive to anything I needed. The place is 5star clean (super clean) and after Covid I’ve found most places to be rundown but everything was spotless. They have a free mini bar on arrival which was a special touch I’ve never experienced and they have everything you need to take to the beach. The location is amazing as it’s literally one minute walk to an amazing non touristy beach and one minute to a quicky mart. Also every room has a private pool which was perfect for me as it was overcast and rainy most of the time but when there was a bit of sun I could jump straight in the pool and enjoy it. They don’t have onsite room service per se but you can order from a menu and it’s literally delivered in 10mins and it’s great food and quite cheap. It’s not near the main part of Koh phangan so be prepared to spend at least $60-$80 Australian for a round trip in a taxi if you don’t do mopeds. Also to note they are not registered for TM30 so if you need to renew your visa whilst staying here you will need to go over to Koh Samui like I did as they don’t ask for it. Would definitely stay again.

Best experience in Phangan”
I have stayed in Phangan many times, on different beaches and hotels. These bungalows are just stunning, every detail has been thought for you to feel like home. It really seems like in the middle of the jungle though only 1 to 2 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. The pool is really appreciable, we spent more time than expected in it. The nature (frogs, geckos and others) naturally come say hello :)

The Great Escape”
They chose the name wisely, located in the quieter area of thong nai pan yai but still close enough to the action at noi. The room has things I didn't even know I wanted (selection of games). The TV is a smart TV so also has Netflix. The bed wasn't amazing but still fine. Bath was great and the room was clean. Best part was the plunge pool and outside couch for relaxing. Would visit again

The pool villa is the one to select (other chalets are too small for 3): very spacious and new; very nice. But this place is unfortunately infested by mosquitoes.

Disappointing ”
Walk to the beach is only 5 minutes. The room interiors are ok and there are lot of amenities provided that make us comfortable. The worst part of this place is that we have to pay cash for the entire stay. We wanted to pay by credit card but the receptionist said that we will be charged 3%. This should have been informed while booking and not while checking in. I have never come across a hotel recently that charges extra for using credit card. This is a major disadvantage. Otherwise the staff are quite helpful and the beach is fantastic.

New, quiet, superset of amenities, private pool”
pro's: - private pool - excellent for small children (be careful though) - new facility - very broad set of amenities (you will be amazed) - welcome minibar with beer and soft drinks (I fell in love, lol) cons: - not the first line (very quiet though and you have nice mountin view) - a lot of mosquitos all-in: will stay there next time nb: check-in is 2pm (not 7am as mentioned in confirmation)

If you are in Phangan and looking for an escape from your daily routine then THE GREAT ESCAPE is the place that you HAVE TO stay. It was the most memorable time I had and the Chalets are immaculate. Our host MIU was superb and made our stay even better. The only gripe i have is that I only had 3 nights of stay in Phangan. I loved Great Escape and kudos to the owners, this really is a great escape. The next time i visit Thailand, I know already where to stay in Phangan. 2 Thumbs up !!!

Fantastic place”
This place is great. Nice, private chalets right near the beach. The beach itself is lovely and very laid back and quiet. Staff are exceptionally friendly. The room is massive with an also massive bathroom. Very clean, lots of towels, mosquito repellent (didn't need it), hammock outside. I'd highly recommend it.

Très belle chambre spacieuse Belle terrasse avec petit bassin pour se rafraîchir à l’abri des regards Gentillesse du personnel et hôtes Location scooter sur place Pas de service de restauration ni piscine mais belle plage à 3 minutes à pied avec choix de restauration Côté est de l’île un peu isolé. Scooter obligatoire pour accéder côté ouest

Charmant hôte avec beaucoup de goût ”
Hôtel très chaleureux, les chambres avec jacouzi sont décorées avec beaucoup de goût, de très beaux meubles en bois exotics, très chic. Ensuite nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassé dans une pool villa, pour le même prix, changement d’ambiance, béton ciré et baie vitrée ambiance loft à miami, bcp plus moderne et spacieuse

Schönes Chalet mit Strandnähe”
Das Chalet war/ist in Strandnähe. der anliegende Strand - ca. 2 Min zu Fuß entfernt - ist sehr sauber und wird täglich gesäubert. Am Strand selbst gibt es viele kleine und gemütliche Restaurants. Ebenfalls 2 Min vom Chalet entfernt, gibt es eine kleine "Fressmeile" - die sehr zu empfehlen ist. Das Chalet selbst ist sehr schön und ruhig. Empfehlenswert

Kleines und schickes Resort. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Roller direkt unkompliziert beim CheckIn buchen. Blickdichte Pflanzen rund um das Cottage geben Privatsphäre beim relaxen im eigenen kleinen Pool. Bankautomat 30 Meter. Die Kissen sind leider etwas hart zum schlafen. Essen zu jeder Tageszeit in nur 30 Meter möglich. Local foods oder auch im Beachrestaurant. Um Pickup vom Hafen bei der Buchung anfragen! Die Taximafia auf Koh Phangan verlangt Wucherpreise für die lange Fahrt zum Resort, 1.200 Baht. Nicht bezahlen! Maximal 600 Baht.

Wunderschöne Bungalowanlage!”
Wunderschöne Bungalowanlage zwei Minuten vom für uns schönstem Strand auf Koh Phangan.Es wurde viel negatives geschrieben über die Baustelle gleich nebenan.Uns hat das nicht im geringsten gestört!Nach dem Frühstuck sind wir immer mit dem Motorrad weg die Insel zu erkunden.Abends wenn wir zurück kamen war Feierabend auf der Baustelle(17:00)Die Chefin war mega lieb sie wollte uns sogar das Motorrad kostenlos zu verfügung stellen wegen der Baustelle.Haben wir nicht angenommen.Zu Fuss kann man am Abend im kleinen Dorf lecker Essen und es hat auch ein paar Shops.Auch die Dusche war super die hat Druck drauf wie man es in Thailand nicht gewohnt ist.Würden sofort wieder kommen!

Super gemütlich, urlaubsfeeling”
Wir waren für 4 Tage hier und haben es sehr genossen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich! Die Chalets sind gemütlich, sauber und mit dem kleinen Pool und einer Hängematte umringt von Pflanzen eine kleine Oase, die absolutes Urlaubsfeeling bietet. Die Zimmer werden auf Wunsch gereinigt, Laundry Service gibt es für 60 baht. Die Minibar war Gratis aufgefüllt mit verschiedenen Softdrinks, Wasser und Bier am ersten Tag, danach kann man sie gegen Aufpreis wieder befüllen. Hinter den Chalets befindet sich ein absoluter Traumstrand - Thong Nai Pan Yai. Weißer Sand und klares Wasser. Vorne an der Hautstrasse gibt es diverse Essensmöglichkeiten, kleine Stände mit super essen und Drinks. Wir waren hier quasi jeden Tag! Insgesamt können wir das Great Escape wärmeres weiter empfehlen !
