For peaceful stay”
We visited Gangtok in end of April 22 and stayed till first week of May. Griffon's nest was the exact stay we were looking for. Peaceful, clean and secluded. As visiting from a big city we do not wanted to stay near city center. This hotel was cozy, with homemade food that can never make you sick and very family like staff. Though it is a bit away from MG Road but it is very beautiful at night and morning.

The view from the rooms is very good. The staffs are good and friendly. The rooms given to us were not clean even after late check-in, and was not cleaned after making multiple requests. Apart from cleanliness, other things were meeting the the expectations.

We loved the location outside the city, with calm and picturesque view of the mountain amidst the clouds. The rooms were clean. Food was tasty. No issues with bathroom.

One could expect a cosy stay at The Griffons' Nest Hotel and Restaurant. The staff is very polite and take cares of the guests in a homely manner. The food is just like home. If you want to enjoy views and want peace from the hustle and bustle of the market and town it's the best choice!! Also places like Ganesh tok, Enchey monastery are nearby!!

Pros: Best Value for Money hotel. Ganesh Tok and Tashi View Point in nearer. An in-house restaurant that offers quality food. A nice view of Gangtok city can be seen from some rooms. A small garden is available on the first floor to enjoy coffee/tea. Cons: A bit far from M G Road and main market You have to pay 150/200 per cab to travel to the hotel from market Furniture quality can be improved
