A totally awful experience, advertising with incorrect information, rude and unhelpful staff, a shame to the Westin (or Marriott as a whole) brand”
My family and I (a total of 3 people) booked for 2 nights at their junior suite. As indicated in the description, the room is inclusive of a king bed and a sofa bed. During check in, the staff told us everything has been prepaid and there is no additional charges. However upon check out, we were told that we needed to pay EUR 60 per night for the “extra bed”(the sofa bed). We immediately denied the charges since everything was prepaid as mentioned by the check in staff; but they kept saying this is agoda’s problem and it has multiple occurrence in the last as well, and wouldn’t let us go unless we pay the charge. The staff was not helpful at all about getting the issue rectified, all they were doing was putting the blame on Agoda, even when I pointed out to them that their staff told me “everything has been prepaid”. I don’t know if there were any miscommunications between themselves and Agoda, but when I made the booking on agoda’s mobile app, I was NOT notified of the extra bed charge. We eventually paid the charges first and are now going through the hustle to deal with Agoda on a refund. Regardless, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers due to: Rude, arrogant and unhelpful staff - they never tried to help resolve an issue, and never admitted a fault made by themselves Limited selection for the buffet breakfast - food option at breakfast was totally not up to other Westin’s standard ____ house cleaning service - as said, our booking was for three people but there were only two sets of amenity in the room, so we had to ask for an extra set. After the first night, they refurbish only two sets again, and we had to ask for another set AGAIN. Nonetheless, the hotel facilities and location were fine. It was just totally not up to a Westin’s standard (or even a Marriott’s) if I had to compare it with other international Westin hotels that I had stayed at. It was a total disappointment and I will not stay with this hotel again.

Hotel is quite nice stunning few to the mountains and city center unfortunately windows are not sound prove bit noisy at night also rooms are a bit oldschool breakfast was nice with fresh omelette and pancakes unfortunately little bit overfilled that’s why cleanliness are only average

While there was a truck blocking the circular driveway to the entrance of the hotel, delaying us for 5 minutes before we were able checked in, the reception's Ann Ngnyun makes the day better. She was professional, courtesy and deliver the check-in process with a smile. When I tried to confirm if our booked suites has a guest bathroom and a sofa bed, she quickly assured me that if there is not a sofabed for our daughter, a rollaway will be delivered to the upgrade Executive level Suite with access to the fabulous early evening buffet at the Executive Club. THe check-out was as seamless with the Bell Captain coming to help with our luggages and when I got downstairs, our bags were already loaded in out airport car ride. My daughter left behind her silk jacket in the living room's closet and customer service was able to deliver that back to us in the US. Excellent staff.
