Great Location, good area and easily accessible”
Although there are some hiccups for the booking, we did enjoy the stay in this hotel. The bed and toilet are clean, the housekeeping team has put in great effort in ensuring that the guests feel at home. The staff are all polite and helpful. A tip for future guests, should you want to get a room with balcony, please request for a room facing the mall. :)

We like this hotel so much! Near to the highlight spots like the bund, Nanjing road by walking. The Metro is just nearby and so convenient to scout the city with metro. A lot of good restaurants nearby too! The hotel is so clean and spacious, with old Shanghai feel. Will come back again if in Shanghai again!

Room I got did not tally with what I expect”
Room I got is not as what described. I was expecting my room that comes with separate shower and bath but my room has only shower. It was clearly stated in my room description. I didn’t go back to ask or request to get the room as it supposed to be. However it was quite disappointed with this. Other than this, location is good but be aware that the nearest exit from metro station is a long stair to climb, no escalator or elevator at exit 14. For those who carry big luggage, you may want to be aware of this.

Good Hotel”
The location is good and just next to 人民广场Station Exit 14. This station has 3 lines and it link to most of the tourist attractions. It is also next to Raffles City Shopping Mall, it has lots for restaurants and a basement food mall. The hotel front desk and Conceige staffs are attentive and friendly. The interior deco of the hotel and room is luxurious classic style - it is new and not run down.

We had a fantastic stay at The Yangtze Boutique Shanghai. Lovely hotel and great location. The only minor issue is that the hotel bar (Lobby Bar) does not serve alcohol so we were unable to relax there for a pre-dinner drink. Instead, we went up to the restaurant which did serve alcohol to us although (I think) they were not open for the evening/ dinner (this was about 4-5pm). Thank you to the staff who went above and beyond to meet their customers' needs! Will definitely stay again if we are to visit Shanghai in the future!
