HK Family vacay”
Yiu Fai stay is comfortable. The owner/ receptionist was accommodating who allowed us to leave our luggages while we go around the area to eat our lunch prior checking-in. It was when we checked-in that i was told that our reserved 2 rooms of 4 occupants each is not available. Instead we were given 2 rooms (3 occupants) and 1 additional room at the 6th flr (2 occupants). I was not happy about this coz this means i won't be able to monitor my mom and mom-in law as often as i wanted to. I reached out to the receptionist the next day to ask for consideration but apparently the first person i talked to is not available at that moment. oh well, we were able to survived the 5 nights accomm in this place and overall the service is good, place is not so crowded with so many tourists. Most of the time we are the only ones using the elevator. Place is also in the middle of the commercial district where you just have to go down and roam around to buy food and shop for clothes. Thank you and will still come back to this guesthse when i visit hongkong again maybe next year.
Accomodating and very central”
Location is on central TST, nearby bus stops and subway stations. Shopping centers and restaurants are just a walk away. Super near to Victoria harbor. Staff are friendly and accomodating. They clean the rooms everyday. Highly recommended for people who are on a budget.
Cozy Stay with a Few Trade-offs”

Cons: Room Size (3/5): Rooms are cozy but might feel a bit cramped for those used to larger spaces. Overall Impression: If you prioritize a fantastic location near public transportation and are working with a limited budget, this guest house is a solid choice. The trade-off is the room size, which might be a bit compact for those used to more spacious accommodations. However, if you're an explorer who plans to be out and about most of the time, the cozy room might not be a deal-breaker.
One of the Bests”
This place is underrated. This is so much better than Chungking Mansion. The room size is actually bigger than what I expected. They have free hot and cold water. They have kind and accommodating staff and front desk. They let us early check in without additional cost, we did not even asked for it, they just said we can have early check in with one of the rooms. The room and toilet is clean, they change our towels everyday. The bed is nice and comfy. Aircon works well. The wifi is good and free. They let us leave our luggages even after we checked out. They have free liquid soap, shampoo, slippers. There is electric kettle, glass for water. The area is very near Avenue of the Stars. I will choose them again when we return to Hong Kong.
Good location and easy check in/out”
Arrived late after midnight. The self check in process is easy and fast. Excellent location…. Have been staying at yiu Fai guesthouse since 2011 whenever I’m in HK. Budget guesthouse with excellent location just right beside the MTR. Many restaurants around there.
