This was a nice place for us, comfy and in the center of Gyor. Staff was nice and friendly.

We had a dog with us, so we had to pay an extra fee of 20 euro for him + parking + city tax, and in total it was almost double than the price of the room. So take this into consideration when booking here while having a pet. And on the rules for pets it's said that if the room needs extra cleaning for your pet you have to pay again a fee, extra of those 20 euro. It wasn't the case for us, just letting others know.

Was cold in the room.

The location is amazing, right next to the city. Staff helped us fast when we had an issue.

The heating, it couldnt really heat the room, very thin walls, we had to ask for a new room as the neighbours very incredibly loud. Maybe we were just unlucky but unfortunately we did not have a great time here.

The heating for the room provided by air conditioner only. It was on the very edge. In the bathroom was very cold to take shower. They have heating elements everywhere, but for some very strange reason it is not in use. The parking could be very crowded and no guaranteed space.

The location by the river is very nice, about 20 min walking from city center, nice breakfast, the restaurant/terrace is good and has a nice view. Free parking. The rooms have a bit of an older vibe to them but they are comfortable (we stayed 1 night as we were passing through)

This location was a pleasant surprise, the building itself is very beautiful, very close to the city center, big room, very clean, all rooms have a huge balcony. Staff is very friendly, breakfast was delicious, standard options with a hot meal (eggs, sausages) or cold ( cheese, salami, yogurt, musli). The restaurant is very nice, with affordable prices and huge delicious portions. I liked this location and will consider it for my next stay.

It is hard to find a parking spot in the evening because there are many people coming to the restaurant and there are no designated places for those who stay at the hotel, but the receptionist told us to park anywhere and it will be safe, after dinner and a walk through the city we found an empty lot and moved the car there.

The attached restaurant, Captain Drakes Pub was lovely and is the only positive we can take away from our stay. The decor of the bar is beautiful and the staff were attentative and professional. We ate there twice and the food was cooked perfectly and was very tasty each time. The price of food and drink was o.k, not too expensive but not cheap either.

The hotel side was very disappointing. I had asked for a quiet room at the time of booking which was acknowledged but we were given a room facing the busy road and above the main entrance so we didn't sleep much, it seems that request was ignored! The check in experience was terrible. We weren't told anything about the hotel and amenities such as breakfast location and WiFi or where anything was such as elevators and restaurant etc. The beds in the room were very hard and uncomfortable we had one massive pillow, one tiny pillow and we only got two small blankets which didn't keep us warm enough through the night. We also requested a double bed but we were given two single mattresses pushed together which were in the frame of a double bed so I'm not sure why that happened. The staff in the hotel did not seem to care that they had guests, no one said hello as we walked past reception or even if we saw any staff around the hotel. I passed reception one time and the person was watching something loudly on their mobile phone and didn't even look up to greet me! There was no hair dryer either. Lastly, I would not recommend this hotel, rather I would suggest staying somewhere else and visiting the restaurant instead.

Fantastic localisation! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was also good. We enjoyed our stay greatly!
