Best trip to onsen!”
Transportation - You can take a shuttle bus from Arima onsen station (more often) or Arima Ropeway station (less pickup). However, you can also call the hotel to pick you up if you arrive at Arima Ropeway Station. Facilities - The facilities are fabulous. You can use three types of onsen: kinonsen (good for health and arthritis), ginonsen, or tanonsen. You can also use the ganbanyoku for free (sauna with bedrock). The best: doing onsen when it's snow. Superb!! - Dining experience: Breakfast was delicious with several Japanese cuisine types (seasonal) and served buffet style. Lunch/dinner you can choose to eat in a restaurant, dining hall, or your room (kaiseki). We ate at the dining hall, and the food very delicious with a huge serving size for a moderate fee (800-1500 yen/person) - Guests experience: the onsen facilities are open for the hotel's guests for free while you are checking in or check out. Just tell the front office if you want to use onsen immediately while waiting for your room to be prepared. The yukata of the guest’s hotel is different from the onsen guest, such as in color, design, and there are belt and jacket attached to the Hotel guest’s yukata. -Room experience: It's a Japanese style room, with tatami, and someone will make your futon for sleeping. I love the scenery from my balcony. Overall, this is the best trip for us. We would like to book the hotel again in a different season.

Lovely traditional onsen hotel”
Stayed in September 2019 for 3 nights. It is a walk up the hill so if you have luggage and are taking the bus, it is better to take a shuttle from the hotel. The property is well maintained and the hotel itself has lovely touches such as an afternoon tea room with free drinks. It has a small onsen with both the silver and gold waters that are signature of the area. It was mostly empty the 3 times we were there so we had plenty of privacy. We took a half-board package and dinners were super lavish affairs with an unending array of beautifully presented dishes. We were usually stuffed at the mid-way point and struggled to finish the meals. Breakfast was much simpler though and had mostly local dishes. The hotel is connected to a much bigger public Onsen facility that was bustling with visitors. For guests of the hotel like us, entry to this Onsen facility was free so if you are visiting Arima mainly for the onsen, it makes perfect sense to stay here. You can onsen day and night and be very healthily wrinkled by the time you leave. The facility also has a relatively large food hall with reasonable prices. At the time that I booked, I did not know this food hall was open in the evening. If not, I might have skipped the multi-course omakase affairs in the hotel and just settled on a teriyaki chicken in the food hall. Overall service in the hotel was excellent and there are also thoughtful handicap facilities throughout for those who need them. Recommended to stay here if you want to have a relaxed and stress-free sojourn in Arima Onsen.

Price seems a little on the high side initially. However, after the stay, i would say it worth every cents. Quality room to helpful staff to excellent onsen facilties to the well presented & tasty dinner set.

Good Ryokan”
Free shuttle bus service from train station to the hotel, you can also ask them for taking you to main tourism attractions nearby like I called for the ropeway station for Mt.Rokko and in return, thank you very much! There was staff who can communicate well in English. Room was as normal size as other Japanese hotel. Free wifi and Yukata for hot spring (onsen) served. There were plenty of onsen here including sauna and open-air hot spring which is I love the most! Game room, spa, common resting area, car park, and restaurant are also welcome. I do recommend full Japanese course (Keiseiki) for the dinner. It was tasty. Don't be afraid that it would be such small meal as it come with varieties of food and big serve!

5 Stars stay”
The rooms are new, spacious and decorated in traditional Japanese room style. The staff are friendly. We appreciated for the free entries to the famous onsen, Taikounoyu 太閤の湯, during our stay and it makes our stay more relaxing and enjoyable.

Clean room & clean facilities except the bathroom (inside our room), a bit smelly but not a problem. Onsens are really fantastic and I really love it! Good taste dinner & breakfast :)

Very friendly staff”
The omakase dinner was good. Public baths very crowded during afternoon but good at night. It has a private hotel guest bath that was not busy depending on time. We went during weekdays.

Highly recommend. Would love to stay here again. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. The ryokan was very close to the main area and bus station. The onsen was the best part. One of the best open air baths I’ve been to

Think twice”
If you are looking for a cozy and private onsen, Arima view would not be a wise choice. This hotel is opened for daily users and when our family went down to onsen we found a pack of Chinese tourists in the hot spring. Although the daily stay is not cheap, i had expected a better environment.

Overall Review of the hotel”
The dinner served was horrible. It was a course dinner and the food served was cold - out from the fridge. It is not typical Ryokan's style of dinner. Toilet in the room has a strong sewage smell. The public bath was filled with people and we end up not using. Glad that the hotel has a separate onsen for hotel guests which is alot less crowded.

This is Arima View Hotel Urara Front Reception. We don't send an e-mail for the customer when we booked by internet site or travel agency. because internet site or travel agency will send an e-mail for the customer automaticly even if the customer canceled, too. That's a reason why we don't call for the customer.
Best hotel to relax”
This is my first time booking Arima Kirari Hotel, and surprisingly, the onsen is the best. I like the room, the breakfast, the environment, etc. This hotel is the best for relaxing.
