The elegant Ariyasomvilla Hotel - shaped from a classic, 1940’s Thai home - sits at the end of a quiet soi, minutes from Bangkok’s pulsating Sukhumvit Road. Retaining all the elegance of the classic residence, this 25-room, unique boutique showcases period furniture, hand-woven silk drapes, and traditional teakwood flooring completing the step back in time. Graceful and modern rooms with plush linens, LCD televisions, and wireless internet will keep guests relaxed and connected. A holistic approach to health and wellness is employed at the hotel through organic, vegetarian meals at the Na Aroon restaurant and yoga and meditation classes offered in open air halls. After easily navigating Bangkok’s wonderful maze of sights and sounds, the Som Sen Spa will smooth out the edges and help guests recharge their body with a traditional Thai massage. Maintaining high standards at all levels, Ariyasomvilla Hotel will definitely make your stay a good one.

Comfortable and very quiet”
It's a place that makes you feel like your at some friends' house more than in a hotel. The restaurant and bar staff was extremely friendly, unfortunately I cannot say the same of some of the front staff - I was ignored for a few minutes by a couple of girls who seemed to be more focused on some conversation. The food is also very good. The soi from the hotel to Sukhumvit Road is a bit dark at night, but there's always people around, so you won't feel unsafe. It's also very near to the boat service that goes to CentralWorld and the Jim Thompson House - a much easier, funny and quick way to get there than using taxis or the BTS.
Wonderful boutique hotel in centre of Bangkok ”
There is nothing not to like about this lovely family run hotel - the location, the facilities, the bedroom, the restaurant, the friendly and helpful staff and, in low season (in June), the price too.
Fabulous find, staff were amazing couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The owners are fabulous people too. Although we only spent one night here we were made to feel like family. Amazing place you just have to try as much of the food as possible too, very very tasty
Best place to stay in busy Bangkok.”
Calm and welcoming, here is the best hide away place in busy Bangkok. You can have nice time just staying in this villa. It was our second time to stay, and are sure to come back again. Trully thank you to all nice staffs in villa.
We're long-term ex-pat residents in Bangkok and have stayed at Ariyasomvilla many times throughout the years. It's really an exquisite place with lush gardens chock-full of unique local flora and well-appointed rooms in which every detail has been anticipated and attended to. The history of the original structure (a private home built in the 1940s) and the modern, architecturally and culturally sensitive additions make this a unique hotel with an equally special story.
An oasis within the chaos”
What a fantastic “hotel”. Travel to BKK a few times a quarter. One of the best places I’ve stayed. I try to avoid the crazy chain hotels. Excellent restaurant as well.
Little Oasis in the buzzy City”
If you are looking for tranquility this is the place to stay in Bangkok. The greens and the vibes of this hotel give you peace and quiet. The salt pool is an added plus and made me relax even more. Unfortunately I did not have time to use the spa but the restaurant is totally up my alley. Healthy wholesome thai food. No meats only fish and deliciously prepared! All in all a little heavenly haven!
Beautiful boutique hotel hidden down a quiet soi in the heart of Bangkok. None of the big chain nonsense - just stunning rooms, a stunning pool and one of the best hotel restaurants in the region serving perfect local dishes.
Charming Oasis in Sukhumvit”
I was in Bangkok for a visit to Bumrungrad as well as general touristing and was very lucky to find this lovely gem of a hotel right near the hospital (almost across the street). Surrounded by trees and flowers (so many orchids!!!), this elegant older house has beautiful rooms, great food and lovely staff who are very helpful. Everything is elegantly appointed and real care has been taken on design and decor. The rooms are quiet and you really feel like you are in a lovely little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. I have been to Bangkok many times and this is by far my favorite hotel in this area. I will be back in a couple of months!
4 night stop over”
Good clean hotel, great staff, food was nice, both of us liked the hotel, would recommend this peaceful hotel and location
A homely feel ”
The Plus.: Homely, warm. Comfortable. Quiet. Easy access to light rail to main malls. Excellent service. Nice breakfast. Minus: No toobrush kit.! Go to nearby 7. 11 If you arrive late and need this then It’s a big inconvenience. Suggest Hotel stocks some kits upon request. For the rates charged, some bathroom essentials should be available. 15 minute Walk to embassy mall for a superb food court. Best of Thai selections in a modern set up. Watch out for taxi drivers who dont use meter. Hotel to airport fare agreed at 400 baht arranged by Hotel, but driver tried to charge 500b by shortchanging.
Urban Oasis ”
We're long-term Bangkok residents and have stayed at Ariyasomvilla for many years. We love the lush gardens, flavorful Thai dishes, and lavishly appointed rooms. All of this punctuated with kind and attentive staff. We will stay again...and again...and again.
An oasis in the heart in Bangkok”
No cons; only pro's. Who would think this pearl were located at the end of So i 1, Sukhumvit?😁 A before WW2 building kept in excellent; authentic mode. With a fantastic staff and in top a vegetarian restaurant. No morning buffet, but personal served breakfast served at the tables. Absolutely fantastic. I travel a lot and this spot are in my top 3. I come back in July. I am not done with this place. Thank you David for keeping this property in a state of art condition.
Love it so much we've returned several times”
This small boutique hotel is perfect in the small details- exquisitely decorated and gorgeously landscaped- beautiful at every turn. The staff members are kind and courteous and the food is excellent. We will continue celebrating special days here.
Definitely going back”
Everything was perfect for us. Quiet, tranquil atmosphere and vintage, classic, clean facilities. Staffs were extremely helpful, thoughtful and kind. Really appreciate for letting us stay until 9 pm. No hotel has that kind of kindness for late checkout. It's like they are in different level. Incomparable. Food was also great. Vegetarian breakfast was far beyond my expectation. It was the best choice of this summer trip.
A HIdden Gem!”
Ariyasomvilla Hotel has it all. A relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok's urban core, and yet situated right in the heart of it! Go have your exciting Bangkok adventures by day and then return to this idyllic, boutique hotel, built in and around a 1940's family mansion. Great thought went into the design and layout of this hotel and you won't be disappointed. The verdant grounds bloom with Asian flora at it's best, the large house retains it's mid-20th century charm and mystique, and the rooms are spacious and combine classic Thai design with modern amenities. In fact, you may find that you love it so much you may just opt to lounge around the pool all day casually working on a good book, a cocktail, and a piping-hot plate of spring rolls.
Our stay started with a surprise upgrade to an Executive Suite. The room(s)were beautiful traditional Thai style. Small touches like quality toiletries, fresh fruit platter, and complimentary cold drinks were greatly appreciated. Booking, checking in and out all doe with minimal fuss. The breakfast included in the room price was superb.
Quiet luxury in the middle of Frenzied City”
This is a retreat with high standards, calm, and attentive service. Staying here you can take BKK at your own pace. I have to admit that for someone like me who likes the pace of cities it was a bit too calm and removed in spirit but I know that I would be in the minority of visitors. I also was not enamored of the restaurant because I am not a vegetarian and did not favor the limited choices and odd things like vegetarian bacon but most will enjoy the California-like concern for health-conscious dining. I also found the service in general solicitous without being warm in the usual Thai way, which I've come to know as a frequent traveler to that delightful country. But these are personal quibbles. Book here, particularly one of the private, leafy deluxe rooms on the first level and you'll be very, very happy.
Beautiful Hotel in the centre of the city”
The hotel is an exception in the busy part of Bangkok as it has a beautiful garden, is quiet and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Great Pool with "healthy water". Really recommended to stay here to 'escape' the normal standard hotels.
Lovely boutique hotel”
really charming and outstanding small hotel on sukhumvit, close to nightlife if thats your thing, close to downtown bangkok and business as well as the mass transit system and the highway to the airport if you are moving around. good restaurant.
