Room space is king!”
2nd time in Praha and 1st time to stay in Arkada. Convenienty located behind the Narodni Museum and a station away from the Central Train station. A little struggle to find the location upon arrival, plus the fact its an uphill walk from the Narodni Museum station. The room is spacious and clean. Ameties like wifi and breakfast are a plus. Recieving staff are welcoming and friendly. Will definitely consider staying again given its price point, location and staff.
Great location, clean & quiet”
The Arkada Hotel is an ideal location to explore the many Prague city attractions. You can easily walk to Charles Bridge, Old Town, Wenchelas Square etc. The single room I occupied for 5 nights was clean, recently re-furbished and quiet, the perfect room for relaxing after a tiring day of sightseeing. Breakfast is good with a variety of foods to select. My only criticism is that the hotel staff are not always the most friendly. Just a nice smile wouldn’t go astray!
EXCELLENT”
I stayed for a week at the Arkada Hotel & I found that the location was very good (convenient to transportation, plus lots of good local restaurants, cafes & bars) & my room was very clean & quiet. The staff was very pleasant & helpful also. Breakfast was OK. Would I stay at Arkada again? Definitely
Clean and comfortable with wonderful staff”
Egor at the front desk was so helpful and kind ; his assistance made for a memorable first visit to Prague. The hotel is clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. It is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The hotel has an arrangement with a transportation service which we utilized to take us to the station upon departure . we can also recommend this service.
quest”
If you care about your personal data - you can consider Arkada hotel Praha - as a dangerous place. During check in the receptionist - v. arrogant man - checked the passports and registered me and my wife separately; at check-out - the same man - is requesting from us the plastic key card - as a property of the hotel. Although personal and financial data are saved on the plastic key card - if you want to keep it , you have to pay 10 Euro for card. No more Arkada Hotel - too dangerous
Nice, cosy Hotel”
Very nice, boutique Hotel in the center of Prague, just few minutes walk to Vaclavske Namesti. Attentive Staff and clean room.
Quiet location but close to everything”
This is located in a mainly residential neighborhood so it's nice and quiet. There are restaurants and bars within feet of the front door but I never heard any noise. There is a cafe/coffee house about 50 yards away and several mini markets just a block a way. The main train station is an easy walk downhill from the hotel- took us perhaps 15 mins to walk. (It might be more difficult walking up) It's a straight downhill walk to the river near the Dancing building. It took us about 20 mins to get there. The whole area feels very safe but closer to the river you get more of the large groups of young men (didn't see many young ladies) out bar hopping. The room was a nice size and the water was hot. Everything was clean. I didn't notice A/C but we left the windows open for a nice breeze. Breakfast was served in the basement-it was a nice buffet of cold meats/cheeses/cereals toast etc... There is also an on site restaurant.
Above average”
While the hotel is not bad, we were promised a mini-bar refrigerator online, that was not there when we got there. Neither Agoda or the Arkada Hotel would take any responsibility and compensate us in any way. I would never go back to that Hotel and I will never use Agoda for booking again.
Dear Donald, I explained you that it was our mistake - we gave you a wrong room. I offered you an upgrade for the rest of your stay but you decided to stay in the original room. I do not understand why you lie in your comment. Kind regards Karel Krejčí you were upgraded to the room with refrigerator during your stay - why did you write something different? Karel Krejčí
Nice Hotel but not 4 stars, breakfast really bad”
+nice staff +really quiet +good location ... 10 min to centre +good bed +bathtube -BREAKFAST!! Don't even try it 😕 -no water heater in the room -dark bathroom If you get a good price for your stay, it's a nice hotel but otherwise we would have chosen an other one
”
Lovely hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. Great location very close to Wenceslas Square, restaurants and bars. However there is no bar in the hotel which is the only "fault" I could find. Would have no qualms recommending this hotel.
Hospitable staff and clean”
From the moment we walked in Karel the Manager took an honest interest and suggested where we can get a drink and where the locals eat. The hotel has great wifi, clean and spacious rooms. Will definitely stay there again.
Great location, clean and friendly”
We were treated exceptionally well. Our room was very nice and breakfast was consistently good. We would recommend this hotel for people who are looking for a place near the train station. We would stay here again.
Excellent”
The hotel was very good with helpful staff. Rooms clean and spacious. Near to main station. The only let down was the cooked food at breakfast wasn't very hot. Choice was good.
Nice hotel , nice location”
Nice hotel, nice location. Many restaurants arouns. Less than 10 minute walk to main shopping street and near tourist attractions from there. Car parking is underground a couple of streets away, but secure. 10 euro a day charge I think, book a place as they are limited and its very difficult to park on the street and expensive. I would stay again here.
We had a good stay in Prague. ”
Very good and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and service. It is good value for money hotel. The hotel is within walking distance to the old town where all the attractions are.
nice and cosy hotel”
Basically, quite good hotel. The central part of the city is very close and the access to Metro is good. Breakfast is also nice. One thing I complain is that sometimes I heard several voices talking in the next room.
nothing complain about it”
helpful staff, clean room, enough facility. location is not perfect, cause its the other side of old city across legerova street. but its totally ok with this reasonable prace. highly recommend.
kind staff, quiet location”
value for money. hotel is located in very quiet area but i could hear what peaple next to our room were talking.
Nice and simple hotel. ”
Great location not too far from main central station. A convince store (Zabka) just outside . Breakfast is decent. Only problem was you could hear what’s going on in the other room
Cozy stay in Praha”
My stay was very nice. For the price, I'd do it again without hesitation
