No running water our first night and the room was at the back of reception so extremely noisey. ”
There was a missing window tile in the bathroom window which meant we could hear every outside noise as if it was in our room. Room was dark and dingy. Our first night there was no running water and when they said it would be fixed in 5 minutes, 3 hours later it still wasn't meaning no shower, no tap and no flush. Despite this reception woman was friendly and it felt safe. The price we payed does not not reflect the standard unfortunately so would not recommend.
I would Never recommend this accomodation. The room was dirty. Almost everything was quite terrible. No room service (and i dont mean food delivery to room etc.). We stayed for four nights and we had to ask for clean sheets, take out the trash, no cleaning. In our room (standard room) was only cold water, the shower was fixed with a tape and with weak pressure. Breakfasts werent good as well. Only vegetarian option are scrambled eggs. The staff wasnt really helpfull as well. Bad english, no information about tours but they booked us a van to the airport. The only pros is good location.
great stay &friendly staff and accommodating..thanks
Very affordable plus with breakfast. Location is good, 3-5mins walk from the beach. Good staff. ”
Facilities need improvement. I was taking a half-bath when the water supply suddenly stopped. They said that they are still pumping to get some water and would take hours to supply again the rooms. My boyfriend rushed to the reception to ask if they have water as I'm body was full of soap. Good thing they have to at least clean my myself, but still I'm not satisfied with it as it was just a small pail.
This is a small hotel. The room was a good size. It has two beds one queen and a double. ”
Close to beach, walking distance, breakfast included, the staff is nice and helpful. The room could have been cleaner, but not very dirty. Nice price, good area, d stay here again.
Location and staff were good, but otherwise not great.”
Ants in my bed. Wore pants to keep them from biting me. Previous review I think said bed bugs but it’s just these tiny mostly harmless ants. No hot water. Stains on sheets. They wanted to move us rooms on our last nite. We took the opportunity to be reimbursed and rent at a different hotel.
AWESOME AS ALWAYS”
Helpful staff, good location, free breakfast, clean room... Will definitely stay here the next time I visit El Nido.
Firstl night no water so i went to bed no bath then it was storming on the 2 day power on and off and they have generators but on the third day black out since 12am and no one bothers to turn it on till 5am then 4th their generator did not work all night and no one apoligize it was a disaster and take note no tv and wifi you need to go out in the lobby to have it both never again👎👎👎
Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is inside the town proper of El Nido which is easier to navigate around the area. Love their room! Will definitely book with them again.
Free Coffee ❤”
Unlimited free coffee 😍❤. Good breakfast and always smiling staff! The only problem I would like them to fix is the aircondition which is a little bit noisy and not that cold. The location is good and there are lots of stores nearby. This is best for a family group budget traveler. Recommended! 👍👍👍
Clean and comfortable”
Great value for money, toilet is inside your room. Clean, quiet. Electricity broke down a few times but they were quick to settle. Not too far to walk to the beach area. Overall, decent place to stay
value for money”
the breakfast taste good
Good value of money
It's a great place for those ones that are looking for a cheap bed and breakfast. The room has a good space, air con, and bathroom. Everything is simple but worth for what we need, rest after all day tours. The place is close to everything and the staff is helpful.
Stayed here for a week and it was all great! Staff was accommodating, location is in town, decent breakfast too. Nothing fancy but you'd only need a place to sleep in when in El Nido. Very cheap too!
Very Accomodating and Flexible”
We stayed here for 5 days and we felt like we are just in our home with nurses. They prepare our breakfast, they always have a way to supply what we need even if the request just came in. Location is excellent as well as it is just a 3 min walk to the shore. That gave us at least a short quick walk exercise after all of the sumptuous grilled fish that we ate near our stay. Will definitely stay here again! :) Regards to ate Carissa! :P
The location is just right next to (and less than a minute's walk from) El Nido's main streets, so it's easy to get to any bar, shop, or restaurant in the town but also quiet enough at night to get a good sleep despite the peak season (I went during Holy Week). The electricity goes on and off but that's a town-wide problem. Breakfast is standard fried food with egg and garlic rice which is good enough if you're not meticulous about your food sources. Air conditioning is quite weak but there's a ceiling fan. My toilet had a bidet, which was a pleasant surprise since my expectations were low. Water pressure is rather weak though. You'll live if you're going to spend most of your time island-hopping or hanging out in a café.
If you're looking for 'just a place to stay' then try Arkitel. Location is good, at the center of town, very convenient for guests who wish to feel the city life. Staffs were accomodating when they are not busy playing cards or chatting. Breakfast was okay. Overall, it was okay.
The Downer in our El Nido Break DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE”
The El Nido experience was a nice one. It was just ruined by the fact that Arkitel Bed and Breakfast did not have a Generator that can support air conditioning which is very important when you need to recharge after a whole day of going around the islands. The whole 72 hours that we were in El Nido, Arkitel also had no air conditioning. You can just imagine our horror trying to have a decent sleep for 3 straight nights!!! When we investigated the inns and hostels beside, near, and around the Arkitel B n B, we discovered that they had generators that support air conditioning and the prices were not significant as compared to Arkitel's. Considering that the owner is an architect (we asked the front desk staff why Arkitel is its name), we could not understand why the owner did not ensure that a generator that can support air conditioning was not in place. Surely, this was not the first time that there was brown out in El Nido. Knowing the designs of the rooms (with practically no ventilation whatsoever), it is a MORTAL SIN not to have an adequate GENERATOR SET!!! Lastly, there was no effort from the owners or their managers to approach us and assuage our feelings of frustration/disappointment up to the last minute of our stay there. They just let their staff absorb the anger and frustrations of the guests who were there before us. One proper thing that they should have done was just at least to send their manager to apologize formally for the situation and offer some things that may mitigate our negative feelings. We have been all over Asia and beyond, but this was the first time in 15 years or so that we encountered an establishment in a Tourist Destination (for that matter) that had no generator set that can support air conditioning (even just for the nighttime/sleep time). Hopefully, this won't happen again to guests after us - that is IF they'll procure a decent generator set!!! The 3 establishments beside, near, and around Amboy Street wher
Home Away From Home”
Great staff, very helpful to all questions and requests. They got beers at 40 pesos per bottle only which is a very good deal!
