Guests love the friendly staff who provide quality service at this conveniently-located hotel. The spacious and clean rooms have great amenities, with a rain shower and ample storage space. We were delayed for 40mins upon check out because housekeeping keeps on insisting that we stained the sheets!! Of course, we won't own something that we didn't do. The blood stain was already there when we arrived, but since we arrived late, we didn't bother anymore. So they wanted to charge us 450pesos but it's really not about the money!! After we told them that we don't have any wound and i don't have a period, and i even told them to check because the stain is not fresh, they changed their theory -- from blood stain to chocolate -- real quick, well just because they saw the saucer where we ate our cake. Then i told them, our cake is not even chocolate and it's impossible to stain the sheets with it because we ate at the table. Further, i am very sure that it is blood stain because i also saw it with my own eyes. They even blamed us for not informing them or documenting the stain (taking a picture of the stain) upon seeing it the night we arrived. Wow, isn't it incumbent upon them to do a room check with the guests once the guest arrives? Clean room and nice pool. Food is also good. However, there is no parking so we have to avail of pay parking accross the hotel. The hotel would've been nice if not for these accusatory people who cannot even substantiate their claims.

staffs friendly, location is good, swimming pool medium size but clean but no towels and no watch guards, no washing soap at the shower area. The gym has good quality equipment, on my first day of arrival all equipment functioning well, next day the maintenances disabled the two treadmills , two stationed bikes and the climbing one and put the fuses on the top of them so guests cannot use them and covered the screen with paper on each with under maintenance . there is water cooler but they supply water, no (towels, tissues, alcohol to wipe sweating on the seats. The gym contains two split air-conditioning one of them purposely disabled, ceiling’s lamps some burned out and the row on treadmills removed. I reported these issues to the reception staffs they listened to me carefully , and showed surprise and that complain took place on my second day of stay but no actions taken till i checked out from the hotel. In the room they don’t provide tissue nor face and hand towels, I asked the housekeeping for face towels, they told me it is upon request and they promise to bring me but they didn’t , then I raised the issue to the front desk and they brought me one hand towel 10x10 centimeter and next taken and no replacement given until I checked out. The mirrors in the room and the toilet are old and blacked spots dotted everywhere must be replaced to bright the place. No (ear's cotton pads, shaving kit, hair cap or sewing kit) provided although they use to supply before during my previous visit. Internet sometimes working good and reliable and other is freezing, I complained twice during my stay. I wondered why the recent heading management trying to save pennies on the account of their reputations.

“how our 2-night stay went”
Armada is situated in a quieter part of Malate, away from the more bustling areas. If you’re looking for a city view, this might not be the best choice, but if you prefer a more peaceful environment while still being in a major city, the location could be a good fit. Our overall stay was okay. Here are some of the pros and cons we observed: Pros: 1. Excellent Staff! No complaints—just call them once, let them know what you need, and they will deliver! 2. Spacious Rooms – We were a group of four (three adults and a child), and the room felt very spacious. We booked a twin room. 3. Stable Wi-Fi – Contrary to some reviews I read, the internet connection was reliable. Although the child with us occasionally complained about weak signal strength, I was able to work from night to morning without issues. 4. Thoughtful Amenities – I appreciated the hairdryer in the bathroom, along with the water heater for coffee and the mini fridge. 5. Great Pool – The swimming pool was a fantastic addition, especially for families with children. Cons: 1. Dim Hallways – The lighting in the hallways was quite dim. The child with us even blurted out that the corridors felt “creepy.” 2. Unpleasant Room Odor – Upon entering, the room had a musty smell, as if it had been closed for a long time. The child also noticed a bug, likely due to rooms not being well-maintained when unoccupied. We had to open the window to air it out. 3. Linens Felt Stale – While the linens appeared clean, they had a slightly stale odor. We couldn’t detect any hint of detergent or fabric softener. 4. Insufficient Supplies – Despite being a group of four, only amenities for two were provided—such as towels, slippers, and toiletries. 5. Housekeeping Entered Without Permission – We specifically instructed the staff not to clean our room as we preferred to handle it ourselves. However, when we returned after being out the entire day, we discovered that housekeeping had still entered. While we appreciated their effort, it was unsettling to know they had accessed our room despite our clear instructions. Overall Impression: It was a fairly decent stay, but I believe we could have found a better hotel for the price we paid. I read a review saying, “You either get a good room or a bad room,” and I feel like we ended up with something in between.
