The hotel is located just near the famous beach in Chumpon, it mean you can reach the beach with less then 10 minutes walk. The villa was clean, the pool is huge and they provide a variety of breakfast (local or western style). if i have to visit the hidden gems of southern Thailand a.k.a Chumpon, surely i will stay at this hotel...... Oh while you there and if you like a rustic beef steak, do try..... :)

We had a lovely stay”
The hotel is a pet-friendly hotel which is amazing for us. We have a 6 months old big puppy. Be careful with the dog at the hotel, it might take some time for him to get used to visitors. The hotel welcomes us very nicely. The food was great. Staffs were really nice and friendly. The pool could be cleaner. We had a nice stay!

Quiet, clean, restful”
Because of the pandemic, there were few guests at the hotel, but it was a very peaceful stay. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, the facilities are clean, and the location is a 3 minute drive to the beach.

clean, friendly – but needs refurbishment”
The Armonia is situated in a nice garden tucked away from the busy beach area, so we enjoyed the quiet surroundings. Our room was neat and clean, but it appears equipped with outdated and rather cheap furniture and accessories. So our overall impression is that the Armonia still provides its guests a pleasant stay, but its builduings and equipment must have seen better days…

Quiet tucked away”
We came in high season but rain. The area seemed deserted. Hotel was lovely, nice pool and good breakfast. Very quiet and tucked away. Gym and massage area as well.

Best dog friendly hotel I ever stayed ”
Myself and my Great dane stayed at the resort for a night. It is the best dog friendly hotel I ever stayed. My dog can walk around anywhere she wants and there is plenty of garden space. Staffs also very friendly towards dog as well as hotel's owner. Definitely recommend to all dog owners!

Pet-friendly and quiet but a bit out of the way”
Room was clean and breakfast was okay. However, it is off the main road and you would need transportation to stay there. Staff are kind and service was slow but covid has been hard on hotels so can certainly understand their need to reduce staff.

Very quiet but it's far from the beach etc.”
It was very quiet since it's located in some local orchard/plantation. It's quite far from the beach with no public transportation. So I only recommend this for people who want to mainly stay in the resort or people with own transportation (cars, rented van etc.).

Blanket thinner than towel ”
I spent three nights with my family. The extra bed is just thin mattress on the floor with very thin blanket. So bring your blanket if choosing this hotel. Breakfast is ok you can choose from 5 options. If bring your dog you have to be careful they have two big dogs there too.

Actually a very nice place, however:”
likely as a result of covid caused low occupation and resulting limited income, the overall maintenance was rather bad. Dripping water from aircond, bursted waterpipes, very dirty fitness room and pool

friendly, quiet, good alternative to koh samui”
we stayed 5 nights : 3 adults and 2 teenagers, 3 rooms. we came from bangkok with nok air (chumphon airport). the italian owner and his thai wife, made us feel really at home. their team is great, and helpful. it was a pleasure also to share with davis some memories of europe, with a drink. he's talkative. the resort is very quiet, on a large piece of land, located 500m from the nana beach (but with a free shuttle to go). and new (1 year). cottages are fine. there are a 10 cottages around the pool, along with the restaurant, and several "villas" behind. the beach has several thai restaurants (thai style). i would cite one : mali blues. perfect thai food. one good point : davis's team know how to cook pasta ! at anytime, they can prepare spaghetti pomodoro for instance, very simple, or with basil, perfectly cooked. one regret : the wine list. davis should really increase the choice of wines, even though many people drink beer. i was frustrated during new year's eve party or during "saturday pizza" (yes every saturday, they have a special pizza night, with real owen). to summarize : -a nice place, quiet, to get some rest -if you want to avoid the crowd and vulgarity of koh samui -a manager who is also the owner, it's important, and who doesn't count his time to please his customers -prices reasonnable

Very nice hotel, lovely place”
Very nice bungalow in a lovely garden around the pool, furnished with care and beautifully decorated and very comfortable bedding clean (rare in thailand .....). Very friendly and courteous welcome from the manager, welcome drink around the pool .... Resort held with care and concern for the quality and well being of guests. Good quality Italian restaurant, lots of choice and good quality. We had the opportunity to spend the eve of December 31, buffet organized easily with good products very well prepared for a ridiculous price, very nice stop to enjoy the beautiful weather, Chumphon is still fast enough and visited some interesting .... as a city.

Quiet and a bit isolated, but comfortable”
We booked for three nights here, admittedly after a couple other resorts I checked were full. We ended up staying only two nights as we had to return to Bangkok early, but we enjoyed the time we were there. This is a nice small inn, but well appointed and fairly new. The staff (mainly Italian family) were attentive and obviously cared about your comfort. The first night there, I had ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife's birthday, and after we had a pretty good Italian pasta dinner at a table next to the pool, they brought out a HUGE bunch of red roses along with a small cake followed by some great sorbet. Nicely done. The breakfast was adequate and tailored to the European palate, but there was certainly enough to eat, along with fresh, good fruit. The rooms were clean and new, but lacking screens on the windows, forcing us to use the aircon instead of fighting mosquitos. The bed was good and I slept well. The resort is located a fair hike away from the beach, but a bit of driving around and we found the main Thung Wa Len beach area, which is crowded with small shops, small hotels and a public access beach. The beach itself was great and there are a few restaurants right on the beach that look good, and we ate a good Thai dinner at the Clean Wave resort restaurant -- good food right on the beach with cool breeze coming in. Unfortunately, due to leaving early, we missed partaking of the much-ballyhooed pizza baked in the owner's wood-fired pizza oven, with all you can eat for 250 baht per person (about $8). When we asked for some suggestions about sightseeing around Chumphon, the owner gave some very good suggestions and great directions. All-in-all, a good experience and well recommended in this area of Thailand that is still being discovered by tourists.

Great place to stay in Chumporn”
I'm travel myself for the trip from the Southern up to the Eastern. Not really on vacation, just need the place to stay overnight as Chumporn is half way from the trip. From downtown Chumporn was a bit confuse to get to the resort as the road was under contructions(Dec 2011) and the sign was not not very clear and helpful. I have to call directly to the reaort to find the way through. Finally drag myself to check in just a couple hour after dark. The owner is very nice, she was there and welcome atmosphere can be touch. Check in staff was very helpful with service mind, made me feeling better. The resort was lots better than I expect, brand new, good wifi in the room. Very quited you can hear night birds around.Resort is not on the beach, but can take a scooter just minutes away. Also more bar and pub, sea food restuarant on the beach if you like night life activities. The staff introduce me there is a buffet pizza night, so I went and check it out. The restuarant is locate next to the villa. With less expect, I order pizza as they recommend and I end up finish it all(8 pieces of pizza myself!) There was the great Italian style pizza I ever had after visit Italy years ago. The owner try to introduce me more different selection of pizza, but I was stuffed. Great service, reasonable price, make you feel like home. The next day breakfast was a surprise. There are selections on the buffet line both Thai and Italian foods. Italian coffee was great. Too bad I have to leave and continue my trip. Otherwise I would stay longer as there is the best place to relax. I would come back again for vacation.

Good resort and very private”
The resort deserve the word "hide away." It's pretty much out of no-where. The resort is very clean and new. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The Owner is down at the playing field himself, which if very nice and give us the personal touch. The swimming pool is nice and very confortable to swim and get back to the room. Every room get easy access to the pool becuase it's right in front of the rooms themselves. The dinner and breakfast are nice, but not conventional. We should expect new taste rather than normally found in every place else.

Relaxed with good food”
We stayed in the 3 bedroom pool villa, which has indeed 3 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (none attached, both accessable through the hallway), a fairly large living room and a terrace. The resort has two pools: one next to our villa, which was just square and of equal depth throughout, the other is near the restaurant and the bungalows, which is rather child-friendly if they'd lower the amount of chemicals by quite some bit. The restaurant serves Thai and Italian food. The Italian food is of excellent quality. Also, they served a large variety of Thai sweet snacks for breakfast. The Italian owner and his Thai wife speak rather okay English, the rest of the staff not so much. It was very quiet when we stayed here, it would certainly live things up a bit if more people were around. That said, we're not sure the staff would be able to keep up.
