Nice, tidy, Worth ”
It is in old quarter area. Rooms are clean and staff is good. If you are a pure vegetarian, then you can't have breakfast. Fish oil smell is quite prevalent. However, you cannot avoid this smell in Hanoi. Overall, I will still rate it very good.

Big Rooms!!!”
The property is quiet close to Old Quarter and on the street which is quiet at night. It’s has huge rooms and very clean. The breakfast is not great but just right because most people have early morning shuttles or buses. It’s very clean and offers good room service.

New hotel, new staff”
Facilities are great because this is a new hotel. However, the staff training has to be improved. Is this a four star hotel? If so, the service doesn't match the rating of this hotel. Besides that, my experience is good. By the way, because this is "Army" hotel, the security is good. There are even some soldiers standing outside with gun during my stay.

Exceeded expectations ”
Lovely large rooms and clean facilities. Friendly staff. Beds are firm so good for your back and gave us a good nights sleep, but maybe too firm for some? Over all a very classy hotel at a reasonable price. Breakfast buffet very varied selection. Nice swimming pool of about 20 metres in pleasant location. Good for lengths as well as relaxing. Clean pool albeit possibly a little over enthusiastic with the chlorine dosage! But no ill effects and better than too little.

Old but functional”
The hotel is a little old in its facade and practices (smoking indoors @ the bar). Clocks that do not move and frozen in time. Interior design that dates back to the late 80s? I guess the freezing in time was taken literally. In any case, the hotel is located at the edge of the old quarters and within walking distance to many food options. Being in the old quarters, the functional elements are there for the price. Not a luxury hotel.

Excelent hotel”
Hotel was verry good and the location could not be better. Just outside the old quarter so no noise at night. The breakfast is more for oriental people. Lots of rice and noodles and soup but european people prefer bread and jam and crackers or so. This could be at bit better. The coffee and tea are horrible... The teabags are in the boiling water all te time so the tea is black and bitter and so is the coffee, old en to strong. But the hotel is modern, clean and big rooms and good beds and cheap.

Great pool not far from the old town ”
We chose this hotel as it had a pool for the teenage boys, was reasonably priced, and not far from the old city. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well sized and had everything we needed. Breakfast had a good number of Vietnamese and western food options. It was a bit of a walk to the old city but easily done with teenagers. The beds were extremely firm.

Lovely hotel. Rooms really big. Pool area very good. Buffet breakfast plenty to choose from, excellent omelettes, only draw back staff did not speak good English booked transport from airport which did not turn up.

Ok, but not great ”
The hotel room was spacious. The bed was very stiff. Balcony was great to have but would recommend the hotel purchasing an outside table and chairs. There were lots of elevators which were handy. Staff weren't very friendly, never greeted when entering, exiting the premise. Wifi was good. Breakfast options were often replaced when empty, and the egg maker would give your eggs to someone else if you weren't standing next to him while it was cooking. Pool was a good size, nice to relax at. Location: good place to base yourself but you will need to use a taxi to get to further away destinations (uber was useful and cheap)

Staff are wonderful, breakfast has lots of options that kept a fussy 3 year old happy. Pool was a little cold for April and room had damp patches on wall from a leak I think (so rooms could do with a renovation) but it was clean in the room. I’d happily stay here again.
