The Arriva Hotel just feels like ot is my home when I am in London”
My next London trip is next month & I will be staying at the Arriva Hotel for the 8th time. The rooms are small & very basic, but I don't go to London to recreate in a hotel room. The staff is very friendly & accommodating. The hotel is located a short walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras Rail Stations and walking distance for me to the Tower of London, Big Ben, the London Eye where I always hope to see London busker Charlotte Campbell singing & the Camden Market area.

Good, lower price range for London”
Once a month I have to leave from St Pancras a 6am, I always stay in the Arriva having tried other hotels in the area. It is the best in the area for the price range. All the typical London hotel problems: A bit shabby, can be noisy depending on what room you end up in, but its clean and the staff are polite so I will return. It's not luxurious by any means but if you are just looking for basic, comfortable, clean then the Arriva is great.

Free luggage hold and super friendly staff”
We booked this as our final night in the UK hotel - we had arrived back from Paris on the Eurostar and decided to stay close to Kings Cross station so we could take the tube to Heathrow the next day. Best thing about this hotel was they held our larger suitcases for free for 4 days before we were even due to check in so that we could just take our smaller carry on to Paris and move around easier. Other hotels in the area charge up to £10 per bag per night. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the station and multiple bus routes nearby. Comfortable and clean beds which was perfect for our one night stay.

Splendid.”
Reading negative reviews of this Hotel by others made me wonder at their author's sense of reality and entitlement. For it's location the hotel is wonderfully inexpensive. The staff were friendly and helpful but not over friendly or intrusive. The Hotel was very warm - which is better than being too cold. The windows open wide. The street is noisy because...it's a busy london street and sound does carry through the rooms from within. But if you travel without earplugs, you are foolish. I never bother with breakfast so can't comment. The room was clean and spacious. Will use again.

Very nice hotel. I really recomend it!!”
Me and my boyfriend stayed on this hotel for 4 days and we had a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and the room are really clean. The room are a bit small (but thats what rooms are like in London). The location is really good and the travel posibillitys are good. The breakfast was ok! Over all, the hotel was worth the price and I really recomend this hotel!

Hotel convenience at a hostel price”
Not the fanciest hotel in London, but it ticks all boxes for an unsophisticated business travel. It's as clean as possible (considering its dated interior), the wifi is great, free euro plug adapter, good bed. The only real downside was hallway noise permeating into the room, because there was only a single door.

We had a great time in London, the hotel room was a bit small but cozy and warm, ”
The hotel is Verry close to King's Kros station and one can easily reach any part of London, using the trains the staff where very helpful and informative I would choose to stay there again . thanks to all the staff.

It’s old and nasty”
My room was located at the basement. It was old and not very clean. Look out the window was a wall and a wet green floor with moss. It’s about 20 minute walk from King Cross. Alongside I saw a lot homeless people, felt a little dangerous. But a fair price at King Cross, you couldn’t expect too much.

Excellent for price ”
Friendly staff, easy location and great travel links at Kings Cross.

Convenient Location”
It is a budget hotel which includes private toilet/shower room. I found lots of hostels with the similar price where you had to share toilet/shower room so for me, this was the main reason of choosing the hotel. Location was superb, and I enjoyed eating out at restaurants near King's Cross. There are several convenient stores open until 1am. One big down side for me was the bed. The spring of the bed was very weak, so this may cause some back pain especially for Asians. The facilities are little old, but endurable.

Great staff”
The staff is really nice, flexible and open for suggestions, had a great time talking to them during my stay! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a low budget stay in London.

Above average”
This is a place to stay if you do not wish to spend too much on hotel and are staying only for couple of days. Very basic beds, sheets are clean, bathroom with toilet and stand shower. However, it has this woody or stale stench which is rather unpleasant. Friendly reception and basic breakfast provided. Very near the St Pancrais Station and King's Cross station- within walking distance. There is kettle and coffee in the room, fridge and hairdryer.

Excellent”
Clean and fairly spacious room for an affordable price. Only downside was a slightly cramped bathroom, but it was kept clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Having a fan in the room was also quite nice.

A very simple room at a very convenient location”
The room is very simple. Suitable for short stay or budget travel. 5 min walk to St. Pancras station, which is especially suitable for those who are going to take Eurostar.

Friendly reception, clean room, comfortable bed”
I was surprised and very pleased with this hotel for I expected far less for the money paid. It is a cheap place to stay so don't expect 5 star services but, for a good clean room convenient to transport links and many places to eat you could hardly do better. Thank you to all the staff I met and who always greeted and pleasantly so.

Perfect location”
I was in London for a live gig at 'The Water Rats' venue which is only five minutes walk away. Room was clean and comfortable. Only bad point was the shower which was little more than a dribble and sprayed that all over the bathroom floor... For my needs however it was fine.

Overpriced, Over-rated, Dusty, Not Well Maintained, A Distance from King’s Cross”
Spent a night in basement room. It was old, dusty, with uneven carpet floor, also unclose-able window means the noise on road and cool air could come into the room. You wont feel like sleeping in a closed room actually. Am not sure whether it is safe to leave belongings in the room unattended. But this hotel does provide luggage storage (free prior check in, and with surcharge @ £3.50 after check out). The location is quite a long walk (15-20min) from King’s Cross Station especially with heavy luggages. May catch a bus at opposite road (with oysters card) to King’s Cross to save the hassle of dragging luggages for 15-20min walk. Overall, this hotel may only be rated 1-2 star, and it is overpriced as compared to Point A Hotel (3-star) opposite this Arriva Hotel. I stayed 2 nights in Point A and their rate was slightly expensive (£17-18 difference) for the same basement room but far more worthwhile compared to Arriva in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, safety & location (100m nearer).

Very good”
Easy to find,; convenient location. Fairly basic, but if you are out all day sightseeing you only need a bed for sleeping. Kettle and fridge in room which was very welcome. Good price with Agoda; not sure I'd want to pay full price.
