Excellent facilities onsite like self-service laundry, large luggage storage area, meeting rooms, etc. The room is big and clean, and it is close by delicious breakfast and coffee places on the street. It's also a short 5 min stroll to the big night market, which is amazing. The staff are super helpful and polite and friendly. Would stay here again.

Great modern hotel with excellent location”
This is a very great value for money hotel that provide comfortable and clean lodging with excellent location right in the middle of all city centre attractions and great foods within walking including night market, night walking shopping street and famous shops for great local foods and souvenir gifts. We have opted for 2-bedroom suite with big living room and study desk. We will certainly be returning to the same hotel should we visit Hualian again in future !

I stayed one night in the hotel and was impressed by the high tech bathroom (including a fancy bidet) and delightful shower! Decent pillows surprised me as well. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprised- a sizable buffet with decent quality food for the price. Unfortunately, there was one aspect of the stay that was soured the experience. I don’t know if this is customary in the area, but I was very surprised to go on a brief walk (to walk off the breakfast!) before checkout time. I returned to my room 15-20 min before checkout, and to my surprise, the key card no longer worked. WTF? I had to go downstairs to get someone to escort me back up, let me in, and then he set the door in a mode so I couldn’t fully close it. I didn’t LOVE not being able to use the bathroom in privacy in the hotel room I paid for, before checkout time. Not to mention, the fact that I had to go get someone to help me into my room wasted time that I was planning to use finishing packing. The whole experience was just very strange, and made me feel like I was doing something wrong or being seen as untrustworthy by the hotel management. All of this, even though I checked out on time! Change your policy, guys. It would be pretty militant to lock people out of their own room minutes AFTER check out time. but before check out is just preposterous.

Close to the night market. Located on a small street. There is surface parking as well as underground parking. Breakfast is decent, service is good. Quiet location.

Smelly noisy bad servixe”
Pros: 1.Good location 2.Big lobby Cons: 1. Room smelly (smoke and something strange) 2. The wall very thick. You can hear everything from next room. 3.No good attention in reception. I told them smelly and noisy but didn’t do anything to resolve. 4.breakfast is same for two days stay. 5.No view room 6. Expensive if you compare with quality We paid around 120US per night You can find a better option at same price near there.

Excellent hotel with great location”
New, comfortable hotel with excellent service. Definitely our top choice for next visit. Arsma Hotel was our base for Hualien Taitung trip. Initially, we booked it as a over night stay near to the train station before we headed down to Taitung. Very impressed with the service that we booked it for two more nights stay after we return from Taitung. Definitely, it will be our choice for next visit in Hualian as well. The first day when we arrived, we were provided with a small information pack including a local map with hand written notes of the nearby attractions and nice eateries. The staff are very friendly and always look out to help. When they learnt about our early check out time, they offered to pack breakfast boxes for us to take away at check out. The hotel is new, the room is spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable and big. The second time we had a room at the top floor facing the sea with fantastic view over looking the seafront park and the sea, fantastic. The breakfast was nice, simple but had good variety, freshly made, feels like mom's cooking. The location of the hotel is right at the city centre and approximate to the sea. There are many nice eateries within walking distance. The famous 包心粉圓 is just round the corner and the 竹陽seafood is within 10 mins walk. The hotel offer bikes for hiring. We highly recommend to take a ride to Qixing Tan and the Pine Garden. It's beautiful and a lot of fun.

Good Service and Convenient”
I started and did not expect good service, afterall, the price is mid range. What surprised me was I got an email from the hotel asking me what time and train number so that they could pick me up. Yes, I did put in special request at agodo.com, but I didn't realize any hotel will consider, as what the past hotels I booked with agoda. So, it is a surprise. When I reached the station tired from my flight and train journey, I really appreciated the pick up service. The hotel staff stood there with my name similar to those waiting at the airport. Room was clean and luxurious. Could not ask for more. Morning breakfast was good compared to many hotels in Taiwan. So yes I would stay in Arsma again if I were to come back Hualien.

Loved it! Check in was super easy and smooth. Staff was extremely helpful with lots of tips, maps, and information. Checked in within minutes, also very easily booked a whale watching tour with the front desk at check-in. Hotel room was orderly and spacious, mini fridge, free water, very clean bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and local. Taro porridge was so hearty and delicious. Also enjoyed free, easy parking! I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend the Arsma to any first timer to Hualien.

Quiet surroundings, but near to shopping area.”
The staff was very very helpful. From the moment they fetched us from the airport, the service level was impeccable. Arsma is one of the newest hotel in Hualien, well-designed and comfortable. It is located next to the main shopping "triangle" in Hualien, where you can find clothes, shoee and local street food. We will certainly stay at Arsma again if we visit Hualien again!

Hotel with super lovely staff and good standard”
I stayed at Arsma for long time and many times when i travel in Taiwan. So again this hotel have super lovely staff that are really wonderful. And the breakfast was good and location central in Hualien that is very good. The hotel is very new and have a very good standard at the cleaning. Room is cosy and staff is amazing of service and do a lot more for you then just super service. A hotel with a staff i can recommend anytime. Enjoy if you go there :)
