Everything was done well”
It’s a quiet oasis in a very busy city. The view from the rooftop is fabulous. The staff were wonderful.

I stayed at Arthawka in the low season. The staff allowed me to check in early, and they even upgraded me. The pool was a godsend. The price I paid was a steal for what I got!

Lovely staff very clean big room”
Real nice place. Huge clean room with awesome staff BUT French rude guests on tours so unless you fit into this category and it's far away from nyguen U which is where all the good restaurants are go to aroma 2 best food and the fun street. Still easy access to visit the stupas take horse cart guys are going out of business taken over by tour buses or rent an ebike

Great Hotel and Friendly staff”
The Hotel allowed us to check-in early when we arrived in the morning and also allowed us to stay in the room after check-out when we were waiting for our bus. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. The pool is fantastic.

Great”
Nice hotel with modern amenities like pool, restaurant, etc.. But the floors are a bit dusty(maybe it’s just that way in dusty Bagan. They do provide slippers to wear, however). I don’t understand why the shower has no door but just a half divider. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. I would probably stay there again if I return to Myanmar and Bagan.

Could be way better ”
Pros: location is good. Near restaurants, easy to get around. Rooms are clean. Pool- however I can’t comment as I didn’t swim. The staff were sweet and helpful when wanting to get a driver. Cons- room felt dark and dingy, musty, had a weird smell, fluorescent lights, and the shower was awful - pressure was poor and would give about 20 seconds hot water followed by a blast of cold water then hot then cold and hot and cold....the entire time. Very frustrating. Breakfast wasn’t too good. I stuck to toast and fruit.

All pros, no cons. Will stay there again when in Bagan. Much more relaxed than Old Bagan or NuangU

Good hotel”
Options of where to stay are as follows: very expensive Old Bagan, hippie travellers choices in Nyaung U and mid range in New Bagan. They are really close to each other in terms of ebiking. Arthawka seemed pricey for what they were but it’s a good hotel. Nice pool and staff are friendly like all Burmese people.

Value for money with a great pool”
We enjoyed our stay at Arthawka. It was clean, quiet and the pool is great. The hotel is a long ride from the main attractions, but we hired e-bikes and got around pretty well. Nice staff, ok breakfasts and comfy beds.

Hotel is very clean, staff is very kind and willing to help. The swimming pool in the middle of the hotel is a super plus after a long day going around the temples

Very good”
Here's my 2 cents .Pool not bad had enough lounge chairs and was nice way to finish a hot day there . There's a great restaurant 3 minutes away by foot and a legit pizza 10 minutes on foot . E - Bikes a plenty and you will be in heart of pagodas in no time .But breakfast was a disappointment .I'll give you some recipes do you don't have to buy frozen baked goods .As a chef put more effort into the buffet . I would of stayed one more day if it had been great

Loved the pool!”
I was sure that Bagan would be hot, so I made sure to get a hotel with a pool. The Arthawk has a lovely pool and also a very nice lobby. I suspect that the wifi did not work well in the rooms (It didn't work in mine), but it was fine at the pool and in the lobby. I would also highly reccomend renting the e-bikes located just in front of the hotel. They are the best way to get around Bagan and they are good ones. They are also very honest and returned my camera, when i accidentally left it in the e-bike!

Awesome Hotel - Super Clean and Great Service ”
Having been to every country in SE Asia, I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels and travel bargains in the region. It was immaculately clean with a good saltwater pool. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Bagan.

Perfect pool”
I had an excellent stay here during low season (May). Huge. clean & comfortable room, buffet breakfast (lots of fresh fruit!) and a friendly staff. Salt-water pool in a beautiful garden with plenty of shade, lounge chairs & towels- perfect for a break from visting temples during the heat of the day. Quiet location on the outskirts of town. Inexpensive e-bike rental next-door for easy travel to restaurants and sites. Amazing value for $30/night.
