Servece with a smile”
+ Let's start with the location. It is on Diniwid beach that close to white beach. Diniwid keeps all the advantages of the white beach (beautiful colors of water and sand, perfect water entrance, easy access to cafes and shopping) and still remains quite place aside the crowd. Room is big and clean (we had deluxe seaview). There is real view to the sea from a balcony (you can find foto on the website). Shower stream was very strong that is rear for an island hotel. There are a lot of European standard sockets. During our stay staff could provide us with thermometer (first aid box is available). Beach beds, beach towels, umbrellas are for your comfort. The hotel has sand beach part for its customers. Breakfast is on Artista Café with good view to the beach. The range of breakfast food is very limited but good. Staff serves you always with a smile. (I really admire that as I can’t so smiley) - The only thing that I’m not happy about is wooden floor in the shower. It was old and does not look good. (It could be the reason for blue stain fungus) I can’t understand why wood was used as half of the bathroom floor is made with breaks.

Very nice Hotel, hidden behind the main beach, ”
We stayed in Boracay for 3 nights. Unfortunately we had bad luck with the weather. Nevertheless we enjoed our time at the Artista Beach Villa. For people who want to avoid the noisy area should definately choose this Hotel. For people who are more into nightlife I would recommend to go for a Hotel near Pier 2 since at night you need to take a tricycle to the Hotel. Breakfast was very nice and the entire staff really nice and friendly.

Amazing, amazing, amazing ....”
We loved our stay at Artista, so much so that we stayed for an additional 4 nights. The rooms are simply beautiful with stunning sea views. The hotel is located on the quiet beach of Diniwid, which is within easy reach of the Borocay stretch but far enough away to be laid back and relaxed. All the staff are friendly, always smiling, and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is great and is served in the rooftop cafe that also has stunning sea views. Plus you get a private beach area on the sea front with great loungers and again has stunning views of the sea. Overall we loved our stay, it was the best in Borocay and we will be back.

Great holiday”
The hotel is really nice and cozy. However, I had a problem with my room because they were doing constructions next to it, so Artista beach villa put me in the hotel next to them, it was great! They gave me a better room than I had booked, and took care of everything The breakfast a was really good! specially the pancakes! I really enjoyed my whole stay and would really recommend this hotel to everyone

Lovely boutique hotel on a beautiful island”
We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay in Artista. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly, and the hotel is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach on Diniwid, further away from the crowds and noise of White Beach. They have a nice breakfast area, and there are other resorts surrounding it which can offer wider dining/spa options. I had read negative reviews about the 'open planned' toilet with only a curtain blocking. Personally didn't think it much of a problem, but this could be because we were a couple. A group of friends might have found the concept less inviting. However, any hints of sound or smell is easily avoidable with the air freshener provided and the extractor fan in the toilet, not to mention the TV Besides, replacing the curtains with a door would probably make the room look less “pretty and artsy”. Some might also find the lack of hangers and cupboard space in the room something to complain about, but there was enough shelf space to put clothes on, and we didn’t find a pressing need to keep beach clothes neat and tidy by hanging them up. Only some other very minor disadvantages. The hotel seemed to be lacking its own private beach area, in comparison to the resorts next door, and only provides a small strip of sand to lounge at. Its crowd-free location can be good, but being slightly further from entertainment spots of White Beach and De Mall could be an inconvenience for party-goers finding their way back late at night (you have to walk briefly through a pitch-dark alley to get from the road to the beach where the hotel is located). In terms of views, it also cannot compare to its fancier but also pricier neighbour, Nami. In conclusion, for the price you pay, it's well worth the stay and I would definitely recommend Artista.

Love Boracay! Love Artista!”
this hotel is on diniwid beach, a small beach on its own. there is a small path to the main beach, just 5mins away. the walk to the main beach was lovely. the hotel staff were attentive and greet me by my name. i book a room for a big bed, it came with a sofa bed so the room was good for 4pax. location of breakfast took my breath away! waking to such a view! the staffs recommmended pleasant activities and the prices were reasonable. I will go back to boracay and i will stay in Artista again. no doubt about that!

Hidden gem of a hotel!”
My favorite vacation of all time - Boracay at Artista Beach Villa. Hidden gem of a hotel with lovely staff, clean rooms, and an amazing view. I will never forget my trip here, and I am a hard customer to please.

Location, location, location”
We loved this hotel. The folks who stayed next to us described their room as quirky. We expected that so it was fine with us. The room was clean and comfortable. The fan and A/C worked well. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. There was a small frig which we filled with fresh fruit. All of the rooms have a view. We would relax on our deck, listen to the waves lapping on our beach, read, and people watch. There are only 6 hotels using this beach so it is never crowded. The sandy beach is beautiful and the water is multi-colored. Paradise! If you are a snorkeler, swim along the right and close to the rocks. Go around the point. There was no current. If it is not windy, the Vis will be decent. You can eat at the Artista Cafe or go next door to the larger restaurant. If you want to get to all of the action at Station 1 or 2, you can take a "tricycle" for 100 pesos, about $2.50 US. Or, you can walk about 30 or 40 minutes to the bars, restaurants, and the D Mall. It takes about 50 to 60 minutes to Station 3. But who cares? This is, after all, one of the nicest beaches in the world with fine, white sand. The water is shallow and you can wade out quite far.

Great Staff and service”
We checked in on early morning, the staff welcome us with warm smile and provide a place for us to take a rest. The staff always serve as with simile. The room matches our expectation: simple and clean. The beach is nearby the villa. The villa is far from shops, there is only sounds of waves at night, no annoying bar music. We feel like back to home every night when we walk to the villa from S1/S2. It is great to start our trip in Artista.

Favorite place in Boracay♡”
This was our favorite place in the whole island of Boracay. Best location(Diniwid beach was perfect), amazing staffs! The bathroom does lack a bit of privacy but worth the risk for the room's amazing view. atmosphere couldn't be quieter. we had perfectly peaceful sleep. It really was an awesome place.

Nice located Villas”
We looked for a quiet place away from the busy beaches and we got it at Artista Beach Villa. We where picked up at the airport in Caticlan and was helped all the way to the place which was nice because you have to take a tricycle, a boat and then a tricycle again. The rooms are nice and clean with good wifi. The breakfast was good and they have cheap happy hours Also when we caught some fish they helped us grill them.

Relaxing”
Our stay was great however we were there during a typhoon, so we couldn't enjoy the beach. Our cable and internet cut out due to the storm. The staff did organize us a couples massage at a near by hotel which was superb. We ate dinner twice at other hotels walking distance and Artista`s breakfast is fantastic plus you can order it at any time of the day! The room was cozy, nothing fancy but comfortable. It is a little far from the city center but a nice break from station 2. I will stay here again.

Pleasant experience, but overrated location”
We enjoyed our stay at Artista Villas on the whole for its hospitable service & pleasant environment, both in our room and on the beachfront right at our doorstep where breakfast was served everyday. The service staff who took us to and from the airport were very helpful and full of initiative in carrying our baggages, and when we arrived at the resort a few hours before the official check-in time they quickly offered us a temporary room that was empty to freshen up and take a rest before our actual room was ready. The only problem was that not many of them speak English and for some reason the reception desk was often unmanned, so it wasn't always easy to get answers to our questions when we needed to get around. The room was clean and very comfortable in size, it was quite a surprise to literally find an open shower in the toilet separated from the bedroom by just a curtain and a mat, but I guess it made the entire resort experience all the more interesting. The hotel surroundings were peaceful with beautiful views of the cliffs and waters just as in the reviews, but one major drawback was having to take the motorized taxis every night to and from the hotel to the town center because the route by path is too treacherous and rocky for night walking. Many residents here appear to appreciate this hotel for precisely its distance from the rest of the touristy areas in Boracay, but it seems to us that it is still possible to stay in other resorts closer to the main Stations without having to cross the rocky pathways that lead into Diniwid Beach. All things considered it was nonetheless a pleasant experience, and highly recommended for others looking for a quiet holiday far away from the tourist necessities in the main town center.

High expectations but disappointed”
We booked the hotel based on good reviews on Agoda and Tripadvisor but in the end the experience did not meet up to expectations or justified the amount we were charged for the room. When the hotel first opened I'm sure it was one of the very few places on Diniwid beach (note that this is not White Beach but around the corner) and that it had a bit more beach in front of it. Now quite a few places have been built all around Artista Villas encroaching on the view and the quiet . Our room, even though it was nice, clean and the balcony had a good view of the sea, also directly overlooked the neighbouring Microtel bar and pool which made for some noisy evenings and nights. The beach in front of the hotel is also non-existent and directly in front of what is considered the hotel beach is a busy pathway used by workmen doing construction on neighbouring sites and other tourists coming to and from their hotels. There are some deckchairs set up on a narrow strip of sand between the path and the sea but there were quite a few random guys hanging out by the chairs looking to sell sailing trips or jewellery which didn't make it a comfortable spot to chill out in. If you do want to laze by the beach you either need to head a bit further down Diniwid (which is actually quite grubby - lots of trash and other flotsam) or head round the corner to White Beach but it isn't like you can simply step from the hotel onto a nice beach where you can while the day away. There was also a pervading smell of sewerage wafting up towards the hotel - not sure how much can be done against this but it was certainly off-putting. The staff was very nice and friendly and they did make a great breakfast but all in all it definitely is not what we expected from a boutique hotel with the prices to match. No pool either which is usually a nice bonus.

Superb ”
We stayed at Artista for 10 nights in the deluxe ocean view room. The young staff were always there and they were fantastic. There were always someone on the front desk ready to answer any requests. They made many calls for us to make reservations, brought us lunch, sunbeds on the beach and answered our questions about Boracay. There is a beautiful quiet beach right in front and it's a little ways away from White Beach and all the shops but that's what makes it a nice anyway. The rooms are not special but were always well cleaned. We planing to visit Boracay again. You will be not dissapointed of the hotel its nice, cozy, and beautiful, private beach, located 1.2 km from white beach (Station 1) witch is not a big problem becouse you can take a nice walk on the beach and be there in no time.Eventualy you can take a trike :) Very happy :) Thank you Artista for the pleasent stay ! See you soon !

This is what I call a vacation!”
I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Artista! After seeing how crazy and wild the nights can turn into on Station 1 to 3, Artista's location offers what I can truly call a vacation - quiet and relaxing and without night clubs~ It is perfect for couples or people, who are looking for a true relaxing beach vacation~

Very nice clean hotel with rooms in greece style”
First I was afraid it was too far away from the white beach where the parties are when we took a taxi from the port to the hotel. Also the last little road to the hotel felt a little bit scary. And when we had to go from the beach side to the hotel I finally thought that hotel was not a good choice. But I was wrong. The moment we stepped into the lobby, we had a nice welcome. The room had an amazing view to the ocean (if you get the the one at the corner) and the room was very clean and stylish as shown on the picture. Turned out with the taxi (which you will always find in front of the hotel) you can make it in 8 minutes for 100 php/$2.50to the party area where all the nice bars and restaurants are. The breakfast was not that impressive just enough get through the morning hunger. The beach in front of the hotel was crystal clear water and the staff very nice and helpful. I would go back to the hotel, if I can make sure I get the same room again. Even they say, every room has ocean view (which I believe) the the rooms with best ocean view, are those at the corner. You also get free wifi.

Artista weekend”
The location is a bit far from Station 1. And even though we were upgraded to a panorama suite, it wasn't really a panorama view. But our stay was very comfortable. The waves were too harsh on diniwid - that was a pity coz we couldn't swim right outside our hotel - but I believe the rest of the year, it is a calm beach.

quiet location, great room and lovely staff”
I loved this hotel, but it is not for everyone- the poitns below are not negtaives or positives, just facts which depending on who you are will see as a positive/negative. 1. it is on a beach only just connected to main beach- you can walk to the station one side of the beach, takes a good half an hour- but is a beautiful walk. Not suitable for young kids though. Having said that, tricycles are easy to come by for about P75- P100 to main beach 2. the room i had the bathroom was behind a curtain- fine if you are travelling alone, or close with your room-mate 3. the breakfast included on the rooftop is a lovely way to start your day 4. its nowhere near the nightlife, so a tricycle home as soon as its dark is a must 5. the staff will get massages etc to your room. 6. i never had any problems with security of my belongings 7. the beach was empty except a few locals, so no-one hounding you to buy anything, however if you are solo, its not ideal to leave anything on the beach- bring a towel only. but thats the same anywhere. I had a great time and loved it- hope you do too
