Overall, this hotel is nice with complete facilities, clean rooms, and a strategic location. It is very unfortunate that, as per the reviews from previous guests, the check-in schedule set for 3:00 PM was postponed to 4:45 PM, with the excuse that the ROOM WAS NOT READY! For a hotel of this five-star class, it is very disappointing. The lack of service from the staff at the reception made me very upset. Because there was no confirmation on when the room would be ready, my family and I had to wait for an hour to enter the room. We only got into the hotel room after I asked the staff who was serving us at the reception desk in frustration. Perhaps if I hadn't asked at the reception desk, we would have waited for hours to get into the hotel room. Furthermore, my vehicle's license plate was not registered by the staff at the reception, even though the number was requested during check-in registration. I don't know if the staff named LIA is negligent in carrying out her duties or what. It is very disappointing.

I manage my expectations since I don't expect too much. I booked an Artsy Suite with 100sqm and realized the room exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious, the bathroom was clean, and we felt comfy. But, we need to consider that the window glasses were blurred by the aging and watersports, making us have poor visibility of the city view. Also, some spots were found on the bed, and a bit disturbing. The sofa was also not well maintained, and I saw spots everywhere. But, at least the 2mio/night was worth it. The breakfast is also great, but I need to pay for my 7-year-old and 9-year-old kids since only kids below 6 get complimentary breakfast. The location was great, and we had a chance to join the Car Free Day within walking distance.

The hotel room looked exactly like the photos—no surprises there, which was a big relief. The highlight for me was the spacious bathroom, complete with both a bathtub and a separate shower. Considering the hotel’s central location in the business district, I found the price very reasonable, especially for a business trip. The staff were consistently helpful and friendly, which made the stay feel warm and welcoming. Room cleanliness was generally fine, and housekeeping came by daily. However, the bathroom clearly hadn’t had a deep clean in a while—I noticed a few things that shouldn’t have been there, which was disappointing. The daily cleaning seemed more like a surface tidy than a thorough job. I really hope the hotel can improve in this area with regular deep cleaning. One thing to be aware of is the location’s traffic situation. The hotel is right in the middle of a busy intersection, and on end of the week (Friday) or during rush hour, the traffic can be a real nightmare. I’d recommend planning your trips in and out carefully if you’re relying on taxis or a car. That said, I discovered a great hidden gem just 300 meters from the hotel—a mall with a fantastic food court called Alun-Alun Nusantara. It features a wide variety of traditional Indonesian dishes at very reasonable prices. A great place to grab lunch or dinner without venturing too far. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would. But next time, I’ll definitely point out the bathroom cleanliness issue at check-in. With a bit more attention to deep cleaning, this place could be nearly perfect for both business and leisure stays.
