Would go back there in a HEARTBEAT!”
We LOVED the Asanak D'Angkor hotel! The staff was incredible and really made our stay special. They helped us organize our bus ticket to Siem Reap with hotel pickup. They include FREE breakfast which is the best included breakfast we've had so far in SE Asia. They offer laundry for $2 USD/kg which is returned after 1 day. They have a lovely swimming pool that is not overcrowded, and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and both a waterfall shower AND a bathtub, which is saying something for Asia! The location is good if you have a tuk tuk take you into the downtown area or to the temples, it's well worth the peace and quiet being a little outside the city center (5 min. by tuk tuk). But the staff really set this place apart. They went above and beyond in so many ways and really made us never want to leave!!

Excellent place to stay for visiting the temples”
If you are looking for a really nice place to stay in Siem Reap, then you would not be disappointed here. The bedrooms are really well appointed and very comfortable and clean. There is a small swimming pool, plenty big enough to relax and cool off, but the serious swimmer may be disappointed (approx size 10m x 4m), but hey, you do not come to Seam Reap for swimming!! The breakfast was really very good, with choices of both hot and cold food, hot food made to order and plenty of hot and cold drinks available. If you are feeling a bit peckish during the afternoon, the staff are more than happy to prepare some fresh fruit for you. I and my partner would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to fellow travellers.

Very recommendable”
The place is really nice and very well located, it's all clean and good and the staff are really sweet & helpfull (with the only exception of the girl serving breakfast, she wasn't nice at all). They provide you with a guide of activities to do in Siem Reap, laundry service, massage... and they'll make the bookings for you (really convenient). Finally we want to thank Kat, our tuck tuck driver for his excellent management, his pacience and sweetness and all the interesting stories about Cambodia. We highly recommend this place.

Very nice stay”
Although we stayed only one night we enjoyed a lot this little family boutique hotel. The breakfast was good, the area quiet and the room with garden view perfect. Too bad the sand road to the hotel is quite bad, especially when it rains. Not particularly pleasant to walk if you don't have a motorbike or bicycle. But the staff is very friendly and helpful: after a busy sweaty day visiting the temples, we enjoyed having the possibility to take a shower and use the pool before leaving Siem Reap by night bus.

Nearby the city”
Asanak D'Angkor Boutique Hotel is close to the Pub Street (app.10 minutes of walk) or you can grab a TukTuk which will cost USD 1/person. I would recommend you to walk as you will pass by many restaurants & food stalls which might attract your attention to. The hotel is quiet during the day & night which will be preferable for people who like comfort & calmness. It would be suitable for family with kids as the hotel too have a swimming pool which opens till 2030 hrs. The staffs of the hotel including the owner are very friendly & easy to approach. They help you in getting TukTuk for you to get to the city or airport. The rooms are clean & comfortable to stay in. The bathrooms & toilets are clean & well maintained. However, since they are still new in the business, the breakfast choice aren't in many varieties. You got to order the same choice of breakfast every day. I do hope the hotel will work something out to improve their breakfast meal choice. You can always walk down the street to grab breakfast as restaurants are open as early as 0800 hrs. I enjoyed my stay here with my wife. Both of us loved the hospitality & environment of the hotel.

Good value n location”
It's a small hotel and they try their best to help. The daytime receptionist's English is good but night time's is pretty poor. Limited selection and portions for breakfast but can dine beside the pool or indoors. Location, near to Pub street whereby u can walk along dirt lane and towards Pub St or spend usd 2 one way for a tuk tuk. Tuk tuks are outside or the hotel will be able to organise one. We use Clem , fantastic tuk tuk driver who speaks impecable English. (Can find him under Siem Reap trip adviser: Clem tuk tuk .

Good place but...”
On check-in, was given a terrace room instead of balcony room as booked. I received an answer for "why" that did not make logical sense. As a consolation, was told I would be comp'ed breakfast. In the morning, went to breakfast area, was not on the breakfast list... OK, can accept that despite what was mentioned. However, the staff member seemed very confused for what was sought... simple, it was breakfast. Had I been simply told, it was $4 USD, a little pricey by local 3-star standards but would have accepted that. However, communications broke down more and I opted to leave and walk to find breakfast. Now... I travel >20 countries a year, speak 4 languages well, have lived in 5 countries and this is the first time I have had such a "fail". If the ownership reads this, take note, TRAIN YOUR STAFF... Siem Reap is a heavy tourist area and there is no excuse for this lame performance. Simply said, nice enough property but I wont be back.

Fine stay and location in Siem Reap”
We stayed one night here. We got in the afternoon of day 1, went to Angkor for most of day 2, then had a 9:45pm flight out of Siem Reap. The staff the first night was ok. They seemed a bit confused with what our plans were-I know a lot of it was a language barrier. The next day, the young lady at the reception was wonderful and very helpful with our late flight out of town. We were able to use the pool and shower until we had to leave for the airport and storing our bags was not an issue at all. We weren't sure how our late check out would inconvenience our day until we got back from Angkor Wat, but it turned out wonderfully.

It was just ok”
The hotel advertised Free Airport Pick-up in Agoda so I arranged for one. We did get picked up very promptly but was told by the tuk-tuk driver that the hotel was not paying him. He was only offering his services for free because he was promised that we would hire him for the next day's tour of the temples. We had already made prior arrangements for a tuk-tuk driver online so we told him that we wouldn't be needing his services at which point he became visibly upset and kept saying that he wasn't getting paid. I just told him I would pay him for the pick-up once we got to the hotel. Once we got there, he asked me for $8 for 4kms of travel when the standard rate was about $5-$6. He kept arguing that he spent a long time waiting when I specified the correct time of our arrival as well as the plane arriving 10 mins early. The hotel staff never apologized or did anything to rectify it. Apart from the complimentary breakfast which was adequate, the hotel did not serve food. They listed room service as one of their services in Agoda which is weird because they do not have any food available nor any cocktails. The only things you can get are chips, nuts, soda and beer. This was a problem on our 2nd day when it rained and we didn't want to have to walk through mud to get something to eat in Pub Street. It's not on any main road so it's not easy to find. I think the tuktuk service only operates until 9pm so if you decide you want to go on a midnight Fish Amok run you would have to hoof it. To be fair, the hotel itself was pleasant enough. The bed was comfortable and the bathrooms and pool always immaculately clean. They always had fresh towels availabe for guests poolside and it seemed the staff didn't stop cleaning. The hotel staff were also very nice although it was only the manager that spoke fluent English. All in all it wasn't a bad stay for the price but I probably would choose a hotel along a main road if I went to Siem Reap again.

Dear Mary, Thank you for spending your value time to share a lovely feedback to us that you were really satisfied in our hospitality. I'm glad to read this value review
Great little hotel”
Great boutique hotel with the rooms built around a lovely refreshing pool, about a ten minute walk or $2 tuk tuk to town, the driver who does you're complimentary transfer from the airport will stay with you as a driver if you want, the charges are fairly reasonable, as you don't need a guide for the temples or fishing village just transport. The staff at the Asanakdangkor DAngkor Boutique Hotel are excellent nothing is a problem for them.

Very nice hotel ”
We really enjoyed our stay in Seam Reap... And a lot of it was this hotel. It is a bit away from the main road and the noise and everything was so clean! The staff was very nice and the pool definitely helped us to cool down.

Oasis in Siem Reap”
My friend and I spent two weeks in this hotel. Our room was lovely and large and the pool was a godsend in the heat. Our room was cleaned impeccably every day. Breakfast was quite average but sufficient. We ate here during the week and went out on the weekends. Unfortunately the level of English in reception was not great, so it was hard to articulate that there was an electrical fault in our room, although once the socket actually blew up, they were quick to fix it. Please note that the hotel, whilst central, is down a dirt road which gets extremely muddy and flooded when it rains. We would be happy to stay again.

Recommendation”
What a wonderful vacation!!! The hotel is not big but decoration is quite impressive, especially, nice swimming pool. Room is fully furnished and clean. Breakfast is simple but taste is good. Hotel is near markets and Pub street for shopping and entertainment, just by walk in 10mins. The hotel staff is so nice and helpful. Particularly, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr. Kat - a nice tuk tuk hotel driver, also a great tour guide. His enthusiasm and thoughtfulness helped us get an interesting trip. It's a pity that we had no chance to thank again and take a photo with him.

Very good stay. Mr Chey was great. ”
This hotel is very good value for money. We stayed for 5 nights and for the price you get a nicely decorated room with a great pool. The staff were really friendly and made such an effort to make our stay nice. We hired the hotels tuk tuk driver Mr Chey for three days to see the temples and I couldn't recommend him more. He is very friendly and funny and his prices and better than what we read online. Not only that but he picked us up from the airport for free and was always on time. He also didn't push added attractions that we said we weren't interested in. If you stay here for Angkor Wat I would definitely hire him for a relaxed and pleasant visit.

Great little hotel, awesome swimming pool”
The staff here made our stay really special. We had our own tuk tuk driver to take us to Angkor Wat and anywhere else we wanted to go. Bicycle rental for $1 a day made it easy to get to shops and restaurants ( otherwise a 5-10 minute walk down a rough track to the main tourist areas). Quiet, relaxing, comfortable. 4 star facilities and service for a reasonable price. Only minor complaint is that area around pool is small so not enough sun beds had the hotel been full. For us it was no problem though. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay for our family. ”
This was the best place we have stayed so far. We had the top floor family room (2 adjoining rooms ) and it was superb. beautiful polished wood floors, huge beds, all the mod cons. Kids spent more time in the pool than at the temples! Location was good for us. Nice and quiet at night. A short walk on a newly paved road down to sok san street. Pretty soon there will be a direct street through to the night market and the central area. just not paved yet. staff very helpful and friendly. truly it was hard to leave!

Above average”
Nice hotel. We didn’t enjoy Siem Reap that much but of no fault to the hotel. The room and beds were nice but the shower head was kinda broken and there was also no hot water. We also got the free breakfast and even though the first couple of days it seemed fine we found ants in the bread basket on the final day which soured our outlook on the hotel a bit. Other than that it was fine.

Excellent stay”
We stayed there for 3 nights and I was surprised on how good can a boutique hotel be. We booked 3 rooms. All of the rooms (and bathrooms) are huge. Too bad we were there for a short trip, I would be glad to stay longer and just laze around there, by the pool. The downside is you will need to hire a tuktuk or rent a bicycle to go the town, although it is actually quite a short distance (but at night it is quite dangerous because you may get lost & the hotel is somehow at a quiet neighbourhood. Would definitely recommend family and friends to stay here though.

spacious room, great staff, nice bathroom, clean”
the hotel was small and very cosy, we really enjoyed our stay. it was near to night market and the pub street but not that near that u couldn't fall asleep because of the noise, on the contrary- the location was very quiet! breakfast was nice! there is also very nice and clean swimming pool, unfortunatelly we did not have time to use it. the room was done every day of our stay! the staff was the best value, everyone speak english, they try to help u with absolutely everything. the day we were supposed to leave we forget to book the bus to Battambang, so they tried to call them and book for us but the bus was full and there was no other bus to our destination on that day, so they arranged a taxi for us (the bus was 7 USD per person, we paid 35 USD for the taxi for both of us, plus the taxi came for us to the hotel and also dropped us at the hotel at our final destination). we highly recommend u to stay in this hotel!!
