Friendliest Hotel in Hanoi”

While most of staff do not speak English proficiently, they go out of their way to try to understand you and what it is you need. Everyone I met understood what the hotel stands for - Friendliness and Service. I thought nothing of them taking down my passport information as what hotels would do during check-in. BUT they clearly noted my birthday which happened to be during my stay, and lo and behold, I had flowers, a dinner voucher and a present waiting for me at the reception counter. If you need to go somewhere by taxi, inform the porter/bellman. Not only will they hail the taxi for you, they will remind the driver to be honest and not over-charge. And if you need a motorbike taxi, request the friendly porter/bellman to negotiate and firm up the price before you hop on. If you are tired of the food in the hotel, walk a short distance either to the left or right of the hotel. You will spot small stalls selling Vietnamese food to the locals working nearby. Delicious local food at local prices e.g. rice noodles, crispy spring rolls, fried rice, banh-mi (local baguette), etc. I experienced all these simply because I was surrounded by friendly hotel staff who went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable with a local flavour.

Excellent 3 Star Hotel”

The staff were very friendly, the hotel very clean. It benefited from a full sized public swimming pool next door. For a 3 Star I was very happy with what I received given the very cheap price of the B&B.

Good room & service but not near any F&B outlets”

The rooms in this hotel are spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. It is popular with locals holding weddings and functions on weekend, so can be crowded and the restaurant is closed off to guests although one can order room service, but certain items may not be available, like when we ordered pho on a weekend. Staff are friendly and they try to be helpful alhough the poor English language ability makes communication difficult at times. Unfortunately the hotel is not located near any local food outlets/eateries (of acceptable hygiene standard), though there are rows of small retail shops. The nearest food court we were pointed to was 10-15 minutes walk away, and it was not local fare and not cheap. We stayed here because it was near the VNCC where we had our event - as a tourist this hotel may not be the best located.

We stayed here over Christmas and planned to relax in the spa but unfortunately this was closed during our full stay for refurbishment. This was never told to us when booking which was a big disappointment. Staff were always polite but they had no interest in talking to is when we complained about the spa been shut. The breakfast and rooms are very good although they are very dated, some of the carpets are all worn away. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people staying in Hanoi there is definately far better available.

Price and service are good”

Price and service are good .But the wifi is not stable on the 3th floor.Do not choose the room nearby the street ,it will be noisy. The room is clean and quite good for the bussiness customer.

Big room but average service”

The room is big but the aircon is noisy. Service standard and friendliness are lower than other hotels I stayed in Hanoi. It is very near Parkson and is thus convenient for shopping mall and foodcourt. Jacuzzi is under renovation and the completion date is unknown (maybe next year). This is a disappointment as I was hoping to try the Jacuzzi. There is a swimming pool but super crowded as it is open to public. Thus, another disappointment. Most likely will look for other hotel next time. I come hanoi once or twice a month to see my friend. Any better hotel to recommend?

Friendly and helpful staff”

The hotel is a little far from city center but easy to get the taxi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good and the room is bigger than I've expected.

We had one bad experiecne which was our fault but if Hotel had helped it could jhave been prevented. We missed flight becuase out time estimates were wrong. The taxi was fixed by hotel and the driver also delayed which resulted in this. Since Vietnamese do not speak English, be good for hotel to advice with regards timing to airport

Convenient Hotel”

This is a convenient hotel located near main street to shopping, eating, clubbing, etc. The hotel staff are very friendly especially helping hotel guests to get good taxi rate to airport. The hotel, however, is quite basic in renovation. With so many tables and chairs permanently placed in the lobby, it appears more like a convention hall than a hotel lobby. The main disadvantage of this hotel is the weak internet wifi signal.

It was a regrettable choice of hotel”

the hotel is substandard, very old, the furniture is the oldest I have ever seen in a hotel, the hotel is in deperate need of refurbishing it needs an investment to attract travelers because at this point is not worth the money they charge. More suitable for students and backpackers, but it is a bit far from town which makes it less attractive to those travelers especially at that price. There are better hotels for less money right in the city.

The Hotel is old, everything, only few staff speak good english, not a good location as you can't find good food near to this area in walking distance, breakfast is nothing special at all, room service is really not professional, if they know that you stay alone, even if you book and pay for 2 single bed, all the other half of stuff like mineral water, soaps etc will by cut to single portion. The boiling pot is also old and rusty and they have no replacement for it. Personally I might still need to stay at this hotel on my next trip due to it's location nearer to my working place but I will not recommend this hotel to anyone at all.

A cheap stay for short trip”

It is good for a budget stay. As I was there for business and out most time so I just need a clean comfortable room.

Hotel are not as good as it should be as it is very old, i stay there only because it is more convenience to goto my working place, a lot of fashion outlet on the where the hotel is located but no much choice for food at all, if you wanna try good food you will need to travel to either Hoem Kim Lake or the Park Royal mega mall.

it was chosen because of swimming pool. it was very big, but was open to public and little bit busy. you also can have somthing by the pool. moderate for business trip

Unfortunately, the location at main road is noisy eventhough the balcony is covered by 2 glass doors. Very limited choices of buffet breakfast.
