료칸에도 실패가 있다”

개인적으로 많은 료칸을 가봤다고 생각했지만 처음으로 료칸에도 실패가 있다는걸 깨닫게 해준곳이 아닌가 싶습니다. 우선 한국인임에도 불구하고 중국식 인사와 설명만 5번 넘게 들었고 일본어로 해달라고 요청하니 그제야 일본말로 설명해주었습니다. 본관/별관 포함해서 노천탕을 보질 못했는데 홍보에는 노천탕이 있다고 써있고 본관은 저녁8시면 닫음에도 설명을 해주지도 않았습니다. 저녁식사의 맛은 나쁘진 않았지만 식사 자체는 일반 식당같은 곳에서 하고 메뉴가 나와도 어떻게 먹는지 무엇인지 설명도 없이 김밥천국마냥 음식만 두고 가는것이 일상다반사였습니다. 그나마 한국말을 조금 하시는 일본 점원분은 설명은 해주셨지만 다른 분들은 설명은 커녕 물좀 달라고 해도 무시하시더군요. 마지막으로 중국여행객들이 많아서 그런지 여러 방면으로 중국만을 위한 료칸이 아닌가 싶은 부분이 너무 많았습니다. 버스로 오다와라, 신주쿠에서 바로 왔다갔다할수 있는것과 하코네 신사를 편히 갈수 있다는것은 좋지만 료칸 내적인 요소로는 개인적으로 너무 실망만 한것 같습니다.
