Ashok: Honesty, kindness and availability”
Booked for 5 days and arrived at El Nido 2 days before booking date. Good service advice for finding an alternate available room in El Nido. Many free advises and services given during all the stay. Ashok is an Indian trustly person. Ask for an Indian tea, homemade ! Talk about India to him if you already know this country ! Ask for anything about Palawan, and you will have good honest advises advise in return. Ashok is a trustly person who just want you enjoy your stay, probably for you to come back to his hotel for your next stay in El Nido. Take a local SIM card for your phone and stay in contact with him anytime you need advise. When leaving El Nido, I forgot my passport at a kayak base. He was the person I chose to go and get my passport in order to give it at designated person of a shuttle van agency for me to get it back during the night at Puerto Princesa and get my flight in time in the morning Good to have trusly friends when you travel ! Will come back at Ashok Homestay next time, for sure !

Wonderful stay!!”
Felt so at home at Ashok honestly. Brand new and modern rooms, clean and fresh. The location is perfect with the mountain view from the balcony, it's a good neighborhood and close to everything you'll need in El Nido. We booked our tours here too and got awesome guides and great food on the Island hopping! Ashok and his wife is the kindest people and are always there to help or just to have a good chat. They really make you feel at home, even their beautiful baby daughter who lights up the day! Stayed here all of our six nights in El Nido and I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. I'll defenetly go back to El Nido and it's gonna be great seeing how this homestay grows! Ashok has so many good plans for it, it's gonne get even better. Thank you so much for a great stay!

What a great place to stay!”
Planned a trip to El Nido and has trouble finding a place to stay last minute. Ended up booking here and was a fantastic place to stay! It's centrally locacted in El Nido, but off the main road so it's not noisy at all during night. And still only 5 minutes walking from everything. The owner Ashok and his wife are incredible and very nice and will go out of their way to help you. Very warm feeling staying there. The rooms are brand new, the place just opened in Dec 2014 so everything is nice, clean, and new. For the price, you can't beat this place in El Nido! Will be back!

We can throughly recommend this homestay, The location is perfect right in the center OF el nido Just behind the city hall 2 minutes walk from the beach front. Brand New building WITH tiled room impecable Clean, beautiful views from the upstairs terrance To enjoy your morning complementary coffee. Ashok And his family are great hosts they are there 24 hours a day to See to all your needs friendly, helpful they made our stay unforgetable .

A Great hostel. Ashok the owner was very kind and generous, who would go out of his way to help you in need. A clean and very well organised Accommodation at an affordable rate (if in a couple.) Great working WIFI. (Even when powercuts out.) if I was to return I would stay here again!. Made our stay in El Nido a pleasant one... Thanks Ashok & Family

Good location, friendly owners, but a bit pricey”
Our 4 night stay at Ashok was fine, but in the end we felt the rooms are a bit overpriced. We started in a first floor room but for some reason had to move down after night 1. The ground floor room was a bit smelly probably due to sewage. There is only cold water and the hotel is quite noisy. The room is basic and clean, but only cleaned during your stay on request. We were unfortunate to be there together with drunken Russian or Polish guests who made a lot of noise in the nights that transfers through all rooms. All in all do check this place out when you're in El Nido and see if you can negotiate a slightly better price :)

Nice place to stay in El Nido”
The hotel is very new and the owner is very nice making his best to satisfy all your requests. The room not big but clean, have bed, fan and small table. Also Ashok made a hanger for us :) the only thing we would add - towel holder in the bathroom.

Good service”
We stayed at Ashok on a newly built room. It's clean since it's new but lack some small things such as bathroom tissue holder, Towel rack to name a few. Since it's newly built, the smell of the paint still lingers even on our third day.

Brand new pension house”
The place was clean and quiet with a helpful owner who was always around. He used to have a guest house in Bohol so has a lot of experience in the Philippines. It was a good budget choice. Hopefully Ashok can arrange some way of securing valuables soon.

Friendly, quiet guesthouse with amiable owner”
A very nice, new guesthouse in town. El Nodo is very small, so everything is a five minutes walk away. Quiet at night, as the hotel is on a side street. Room was a bit hot, but the owner was fitting aircons to the rooms, so this will be solved in avew days.

Ashok is an amazing guy and he went over the top to help us! He even offered to serve as a guide to climb the Taraw cliff! The rooms are basic but very clean and the bed was confortable!

Awesome place, awesome staff”
We are two backpackers who wanted to stay at a small quiet place instead of a hostel. This place was super nice and exceeded our expectations. The rooms are cozy, clean and have good a/c and a nice bathroom. There was free coffee all day, which we used a lot ;) the two ladies running the place were super nice, helpful and always present. We could easily extend our stay by just telling them one night in advance. There's a nice sitting area in front of the rooms where we sat for hours reading our books or watching the storms. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place

Nice place to stay in El Nido”
My girlfriend and I stayed here in February for 5 nights. The room was very hot, and we couldn't open the window since it was a front room. We got another room on the first floor, however the room was next to the veranda where people were sitting and hanging around, and also a front room. It didn't bother us, but if you want privacy, get a room in the back. The owner is really helpful, and very nice, and we would definitely come back.

Overpriced”
We stayed twice and were woken up 3 times by their crying baby, the first time at 7am in the morning. Not good when you're exhausted from travelling to El Nido and on hoiday. First room smelt of mold and damp, but second room was much better. Expensive for what you got.

It's a very basic home stay with minimum comfort ”
The room is very small, but clean, the bed is ok. The pillows are alittle hard, only one lamp on the ciling, no bedlight, no hot water. No AC. We can hear everything from the neiboughtrooms. But overall it's ok for this price . Ashok is friendly

Great value for a low cost. Situated on a small street away from noise. Close to the beach and island tours. The owner is very friendly. Its a new place, the room still smelled of paint

Nice”
Simple place but the family is great and very accommodating. The rooms don't have AC so it can get a little hot, but not too bad. The location is nice, convenient walk to everything, but far enough to stay away from too much noise.
