Great seascape & good location backpacker hostel ”
I've been stayed in Hacienda Beach Club Resort twice in a month & the fantastic seascape,the great location near town & good facilities are all attract me totally stay in more than a week.Staffs are geart & warm welcome,just near the Tongsala Pier which also center Koh Phangan.I will definitely go back if I visit Koh Phangan again.Highly recommended!!

Cheap and cheerful, great stay at Hacienda. Can't complain about anything, the rooms were clean, the location was great, pool was a bonus and the price was fantastic. Great place to base yourself at during a stay in Phangan. One minor criticism is the pool bar staff people were constantly playing the same songs over and over and over which did get a little irritating but in the grand scheme of things, who cares? Top place and friendly staff

Nice Chilled Hostel Near The Pier”
Lovely hostel on the beach front with a pool and bar area. Nice dorm on the beach front with balcony overlooking the sea and koh samui island. The hostel has nice lounge beds that area really comfy to relax on. The hostel is near the main road, shops and restaurants/food market. Only issue I had was the cleanliness! No one came to empty bins or clean the bathroom area. The bins was an issue as you could not flush toilet paper down the toilet. Oh and the mosquitos they are humongous! So make sure you have some repellent!

Wish I'd stayed longer!”
Stayed here just for the one night but would have loved to extend if it wasn't coming to the end of my trip. Large pool with pool bar where you don't even need to get out of the water to be handed a beer, all whilst looking straight out to the ocean. Staff were great fun and even organised me a free try dive! Please note: I stayed at the beach hostel but my review came through for their other hostel above the tavern bar.

Everything good and cozy”
Good location, nice place, very close to Macro, 7\11, to Thong Sala. Cool bonus - pool with great view. For us - budget travellers, it was really cool and cheap. All guests mostly young people so you can easily find here new friends =) We took budget room with fan, it was hot at the day time, but in the evening it was good. And the whole day we spent in pool or at restourant, there is not bad wi-fi and good relax music! We liked this place.

Return every time I come to Koh Phangan ”
Absolutely love it here! My sister visited years ago and recommended it to me. So I have been 3 times in the last 8 years and I have loved it every time. It always has the best vibe and the pool bar is amazing! Everyone who I bring here with me falls in love with the place. This time round I bought my husband, we had the best time and really really didn’t wanna leave. Big shout out to Anna who runs the pool bar with her babe of a pooch Kaya, such a friendly fun atmosphere & great drinks deals & amazing cocktails. Also, Merlin for still serving us beer in a tropical storm 😆 Polly was also a highlight of being there, from drinking Mai Thais with her until the early hours to seeing her in the morning happy and upbeat! ( she was also our neighbour, room 411)! The rooms have really good aircon and a massive plus having a fridge. Any issues, just ask somebody and it’ll be fixed ASAP. The restaurant on site is so so good, with great choices. We ate there all the time! Love you all!! Xxxxxxxxx

cheap and cheerful ”
we stayed in the budget fan hut for three nights. for the time of the year and how many days we spent the fan was more than sufficient, although if going in the warmer seasons or staying longer would reccomend an air con room. the highlight for us was the pool which was almost on beach with an amazing view. the beach was essentially private and very peaceful and serene in the early morning. the restaurant on site was really good with some great vegan options although portions where small in regards to the price , so we only ate there once. loved the relaxed atmosphere, being able to drink around the pool and swim at night. would definitely return and maybe treat ourselves to air-con room :)

Yes but don't choose budget fan room”
I'm so sorry, I have to be honnest, I found bedbugs on the fan budget bungalow I booked. I was freaking out as it' my worst traveler phobia !! (So afraid to bring back them to my country.. and colonize all my flat). Fortunately, as soon as I told it to the staff (and it was quite late), they updgrated me to another room with AC for free, so that fortunately, I don't keep bad memories from the place. The staff is super friendly, they are all adorable. The place is amazing with a beautiful garden and awesome swimming pool where you can meet easily new friends, what is very nice when you're a solo traveler. The beach is not the nicest of the Iland, but in this hostel, you are close from everything walking : night market, good bars, yoga, kitesurf, thai massage, shops, 7-eleven, etc. To sum up, big OK for the place but don't book budget bubgalow.

Amazing stay!”
Me and my partner stayed in one of the private rooms with a porch. The pool is amazing and deep which comes with a pool bar served by very friendly and lively people. The pool is right on the beach, so they've included beds on the beach for sunbathing so you don't have to get covered in sand. The receptionists were very welcoming and go far beyond their job role to help anyone out. Amazing place, would recommend to anyone.

Nice beach resort”
On arrival, we decided the room with a fan wasn't for us...it was so hot! We asked the staff and they kindly showed us another room and we upgraded. It was totally worth the money (even on a backpackers budget!). The room was clean with a large bed and AC, we were then much happier. The staff were really friendly and helpful, renting a moped was easy and the same price as most other places around. The pool was clean and the surrounding resort was kept to a good standard. Would definitely recommend this place, but I would book an AC room online in advance to save a bit of money.

Just needs a good makeover to make it a perfect resort.”
I would love to own/manage this resort. I feel it’s being wasted. With a little TLC it would be perfect. It’s right on the beach in a beautiful location but it needs a good tidying up, (specially toward the beach area which looks like a dumping/building site with broken tiles & gravel mixed in with the sand) a little paint here & there & new outdoor furniture (it’s very hard to find a sun lounger that doesn’t collapse when you sit on it). I got our air-conditioned bungalows for £8 per night which was a bargain so I can’t really complain but if I had paid more I would not have been happy at all. Oh yes!! The biggest joke was the TV’s in the rooms😁 they are only there as ugly ornaments! They do not work & they are old big box sets. (they must be there for the brochure pictures or so they can be listed under ‘facilities’🤷🏼♀️) I didn’t want a TV myself but some people might. The next time I’m in the area I must call in as it would be interesting to see if it’s improved.

Not for those looking for peace but a great hostel”
We had the A/C room with the pool and the poolbar in front. The bar plays loud music sometimes till 3 am in the night. Perfect to connect with others as the staff also takes you with them for partys if you like. The room was nice and also had a little fridge. The bathroom was a little bit musty because there is no window. They provide room service if you go to the reception. There is a rusty but functional gym. The hostel offers different things like yoga, DJ‘ at the poolbar ect.

Great value for money”
I was there during low season so the prices where cut. But I wouldn't mind going back during high season, since the place was really nice. A nice restaurant facing the pool with its nice coctail bar on the side - only a couple of meters from the sea and the beach. 4-5 minutes walk from Makro, 7/11 and Andy Burgers - well worth a visit for its fantastic burgers and Thai cousine.

Great but...”
We stayed in the budget room...if you are comfortable with living in a beach shack with a few creepy crawlies that won't harm you it's great! However, if you are not to keen on the sound of that I would recommend splashing out a little extra cash for a better room. Lovely staff, lovely food with a pool over looking the beach. Loved it!

Everything was really perfect in each step. Excepting the thing that the hotel do not have a well-equiped beach. You can just relax on the sunbeds , but you can not swim in this area :(

Comfortable resort, close to the beach”
a bit far from had rin, but good prices. taxis are only 100 baht anyway, so no worries. might be worth renting a bike if you're experienced riding it, but the roads to had rin are perilously steep and not cool for an inexperienced rider. close to tong sala, very good place for shopping, and good for the ferry. make sure to go experience the island, kayaking, snorkling, etc. fun stuff.

Partie pour rester 2 nuits j’ai booké 1 semaine. Équipe au top, ambiance au top, hostel de rêve, emplacement au top ! Je n’ai rien à redire, mise à part que je reviendrai. Merci mille fois pour ces moments qui resterons gravés. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation !!
