It was perfect”
First we only booked one night, because the price (special offer in the low season time) was only 7 eur/night and we weren't sure how the room will be. And it was so great, we stayed here one week. For this price we got a big, clean room with balcony in a resort with pool and close to shops and restaurant and the beach, was really one of the best offers.

Been travelling to koh Tao several times over the past 15 years or so and always book here as it is reliable and has everything we need. It is dated, a little dark, we opted for cold shower and fan - which is fine for us. We slept well. Bedding etc is clean. Staff are very pleasant. Free pick up from pier and free transfer back to leave. Pool is clean and a decent size but as most, also used for diving lessons. Breakfast is good value. For the price, you can't complain!

Good location, nice hotel - minor issues”
The location of the hotel was good, very close walking distance to the beach (5 min) loads of places to eat, mini market across the road which was handy. Pool area was nice, even though the “sun beds” aren’t exactly sunbeds! They are very uncomfortable and more of a chair! They are bean bags there but just very awkward if you want to lay down to tan (“beds” and bean bags) the WiFi system was super weird and time consuming. The connection lasts for 1 day, when it expires, you have to go all the way to the reception to get new codes every time. Another thing about the WiFi was, it would switch off once your not on your phone and have to go back in again and again (not sure if this happened to us because our room was located miles away from the reception, ha) I would recommend an air con room because the fan room is extremely humid and not so cool. Overall though, good stay and good location - just a few minor issues.

Great accomodation, very loud surroundings”
Nice clean accomodation with great balcony, negatives: very uncomfortable pillows, really loud place -next to road and some construction side, even in the night you could here motorbikes, the fan was impossible to position so we couldnt leave it on during night, no kettle in the room

the bathroom gave me mild anxiety, i showered at the pool outside and didnt use the blanket provided. but the room was spacious and the pool was nice. really close to sairee beach.

Bad house keeping ”
Stayed here for a week and asked for the room to be cleaned multiple times. Every time they would not clean the shower, by the end of the week the shower drain was so foul smelling. Did not replace toiletries in a week. Staff at reception very unhelpful at times especially during storm pabuk no information provided even when asked. Otherwise nice room and location

Nice comfy room, great diving”
We picked this resort because I wanted to dive so wanted a base for one night to decide which dive school I wanted to go with and they had a good price. We loved the resort (and the dive staff at Asia Divers- especially Ric and Claude) so much that we stayed for a week and I completed my open water- and we are already looking to come back so I can do more courses with them. The room we had was comfortable, with a fan that was plenty powerful enough and a cold water shower. We had a lovely balcony as well which overlooked the pool. Having been to Koh Phi Phi we really appreciated the way that Asia Resort had tastefully landscaped the area with trees and gardens and not just thrown up concrete blocks like a lot of the hotels on Phi Phi- Koh Tao is such a beautiful island it would be a shame to see it ruined in the same way. My boyfriend, who didn't dive, really enjoyed the pool, which you could go in even when there were divers in there as long as you were careful (I know this isn't the case in all dive resorts on Tao) and there was always plenty of sunloungers. Easy walk to restaurants at Sairee Beach (and the beach itself) in less than 5 minutes, but resort is set back so it is nice and quiet.

Stayed here for four nights at first and extended by another four. It's simple but a solid bet. The fan room was plenty cool in November but the always-swiveling fan is still a pain, I turned it off and slept uncovered. The resort is several hundred meters from the beach, but you're not missing out on much - Sairee beach is shallow, sometimes smelly, and although Koh Tao is pretty mellow on the whole, there's a couple inconsiderate bars that blast music on the beach at night. Asia Divers Resort is about a 30min walk from the piers, I never took the shuttle that Asia offers. A basic fan room is currently baht without breakfast, so Agoda gets a good value with breakfast if there's two of you. The restaurant is ok. The staff are all quite friendly and accommodating. You can book just about anything at the front desk for good prices. I dove with a place in town that was recommended to me. Asia's diving school seemed rushed (3 days for Open Water cert is standard on Koh Tao which is insanely rushed) and somewhat impersonal. Booking in one-week blocks will get you a 10% discount, and one-month blocks something like 40%. Wifi is free, but flaky unless you sit in the lobby.

Nice looking hotel (didn't look run down like a lot of them), room was always clean, friendly staff (added an extra bed for a small fee) and pool/restaurant/bar looked nice. We didn't use the pool as the beach was so nice, though it did seem the loungers were quickly "reserved" or in use and divers often occupied the pool (to be expected really). I'm not sure if we got lucky with the weather, but surprisingly the fan room was quite cool (elsewhere I would have struggled without a/c). I didn't notice the room didn't have hot water when booking, but actually got used to the cool showers very quickly. There is so much happening in Koh Tao- loved Sairee Beach and the road that heads south from Lotus resort has everything you need from Shops to Bars/Restaurants.

Great location, clean hotel”
This was the second time we had stayed at Asia divers, in our opinion for the price it is one of the best hotels in Sairee beach. The rooms are large and cleaned daily, the pool is perfect for cooling off in, the location is perfect, a five minute walk into the hub of Sairee but far enough out to not be disturbed by loud music etc. The street leading up from the 7 11 to the hotel has the best Thai food restaurants, all at great prices. The breakfasts at Asia divers are good with either western or Thai options. We booked our ferry to Phangan with the hotel for a really good price which included a taxi to the pier. The hotel wifi is good and the rooms also have cable tv. We did not do any diving but they looked professional and seemed to cater for all abilities and nationalities. A great place on a great island.
