A little far from the "action."
Friendly and accommodating staff, quiet
the peak resort is quite far from the beach. there is a bar area called victory hill that is closer but is not walkable. tuktuk's and motocy's do not wait outside the hotel but can be called on short notice. the hotel is so quiet! we were not aware of any other guests until we saw them at breakfast.

Not a four star hotel.
spacious room
the peak hotel isn't a four star hotel. we had the following complaints about the hotel. the toilet was blocked the whole time even though we complained, the building we falling to bits, our shower rail fell off, the light in the bathroom didn't work, the wifi was non-existent, the breakfast wasn't great, the pool was ok - but there were no sun-loungers at all, just 5-6 small plastic kid's chairs. the staff were ok although one or two were a little rude. there's no food at the hotel other than the breakfast so if you want to eat the nearest restaurants are either a 20-30 minute walk, or the hotel will give you a lift in the car - for $5. avoid! go to otres beach and find a guesthouse there instead.

Great location and nice view
Great scenery
It is the best choice of family with pool, restaurant and recreation! My kid enjoyed running around this spacious hotel. Good value to stay.
