It's located a bit outside of the city, a metro station on the corner, and a mall with Aquarium (inside the mall) and Themepark (next to it) across the street. Travelling from the train station, using the metro instead of a taxi is a great alternative. Depending on the time of day the metro can be more crowded (as it can be anywhere).

The hotel is clean, but located in new area so it is not easy to find out good restaurant in this area. We arrived at late night from airport, the serviceman in gate do not allow to enter car in front of hotel gate even though we have lots of luggage in the car. It is my first experience to met this kind of bad service.

My room facing Tengwangge on the other side of Ganjiang, it was so romantic at night, making my stay in the hotel & also in Nanchang just so perfect, thank you for all!

Recommend. Units are not sufficient.But you'll be able to relax easily. I was touched by the kindness of the staff.

Right next to Teng Wang Pavilion, and by the Picturesque Gan River. Had a high floor overlooking the city and partial view of the river. Great room, spacious, great facilities, the Gym has world class facilities. I would stay again on my next visit to Nanchang.

Stay in Nanchang for a week and was given an upgrade by the staff at no extra charge. The room provided was big for the price being paid. However, the room was located next to the chambermaid's work area and was frequently disturbed by them. The hotel is centrally located within the city and a short walk away from the shopping district of Nanchang.

The Shangri-La is in a great location in Nanchang! I live in Nanchang and decided to take a personal retreat here. It is right next to the subway and in walking distance of many restaurants. It is right on the river so you get beautiful views of Nanchang. Highly recommend the breakfast. There are many Chinese things but they also have great western options.

Jinjiang is a basic, clean, good price hotel chain where the room satisfies a traveler's needs. For Nanchang tourism, this location is well situated. The staff didn't speak much english, but they knew their job and took care of everything. I extended my stay here, since it was ideal for my plans.

Jinjiang hotels are decent places to stay in China when you are on a budget. The beds are clean and the rooms are tidy but that's about it. OK to choose

Stay is wonderful. Very accessible to night life of Nanchang City.

Heat insulation poor. Location OK. The teochew restaurant next door offer excellent food. Cheap and good.

Normal hotel and normal service. But it's really cheap.

It's a high rise hotel of walking distance to train station. The 19th floor room I stayed offers a bird's eye view and a bathroom eqipped with spacious bathtub which may certainly enliven youself. Here comes cons: the cleanness of picture window and room carpet, though acceptable, somewhat failed to meet the international 5-star hotel standard in my personal opinion....

I stay here frequently which says something. Rooms are clean, nicely presented, buffet breakfasts are just ok, location is near bus stop (bus 1) from the airport and walking distance to the Nanchang station and the main central square which is always nice. A good package

The hotel doesn't deserve 4-star rating. Rooms need to be renovated, especially the carpet. The bar on the top floor does not operate and there is no swimming pool. Anyway staff is friendly and the price is good for this type of accommodation. Do not expect to see any foreigners there like in the rest of Nanchang. Just enjoy real China around you! This guesthouse is the resort style Hotel located off the main town. It is a very quite place with university around them . The site is very big with a lake (Qianhu) behind them. A very unique location. the hotel is consists of many low rise building blocks with basement floor for recreation and SPA facilities etc. it is rated 4 Star by my opinion.

From the outside of the hotel, I did not expect the hotel to be like western style and standard. But as soon as I walked into the room, it was surprisingly nice, clean and comfortable They have all English channels which allowed me to watch original English movie not those were voiced in Mandarin I will go back when I travel there again

Hard to Fault - all staff had a basic understanding of English and were keen to help. We have to take our hat off to "Chris" in the restaurant/bar area - wow this guy was A1 in English and service ! Room was very clean and would definitely stay again - thank you

i guess the place was so good. near by ba-yi square. i spent more than 1 hours to find the place.
