overall, we are both satisfied with our stay at noah's ark and will definitely come here again for some peace and relaxation - away from hong kong's busy city life. hotel room: very clean and spacious, with a balcony, overlooking the beach. toilet was clean, well equipped and even has a bath tub. hotels, of similar price range, in the city is not as spacious as this. complimentary mineral water is provided. as this resort is in ma wan island - where they are really into conserving energy, you will notice leafy-shaped notes, informing us on what we can do to conserve energy. even the pump water for the toilet comes from the well nearby. hotel staffs: very friendly. speak english well. we asked them how to go to disneyland and our next hotel, and they willingly direct us on the best way to travel to our desired locations. they even drew a map to show us where to board the bus. special mention to the front desk, susanna who so helpful and patient in her explanation. room service: food (tuna sandwich set and fish and chips) were tasty and arrived within 40 minutes. the servings were huge as well. price was reasonable. breakfast spread: not many choices, but sufficent for us to last till lunch. amneties: the beach is such a lovely venue for us to chill. at night, the scene was amazing, especially with the suspended tsing ma bridge and lightings. good location to take photographs. many restaurant nearby - though we didn't try any. taxis cannot enter ma wan island where noah's ark resort is in and does not have an mtr station. but the area is well connected to bus services, so no worries if you need to travel outside the island.

I went to Mawan island by a wonderful bus route for one-night stay since I wanted to visit Disneyland for one day before the day I left Hongkong. The beginning bus stop was first hard to recognize but then it's ok to figure out after someone finally shows me how. (People didn't speak English at that bus stop). With the instruction leaflet from the hotel, I showed to a female passenger and she told me when to get off the bus. The camp as well as the room are very very nice!!!! So as Ma Wan area!!!. Everything was like fairy tale. There was also a solar tower which I regrettaly didn't have chance to visit. And there was Noah boat two!!! If it's not for Disneyland, I would also spend time walking around this wonderland more... Very worth to rest and relax here!
