Find hotels near Tai Kok Tsui in Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China

Read the reviews on Agoda and decided to book (plus, the price was very affordable). Was not expecting to be in such a nice hotel - really can't say anything negative at the Rosedale. It's about a 10-15 walk to Olympic Station in Kowloon and a stone's throw away from Mongkok. There are restaurants, stores and a McDonalds (MMmm!) on the other side of Tai Kok Tsui road. If you don't mind smallish rooms, I would not hesitate to recommend the Rosedale to any solo traveller - the price point is unbeatable i think!

The shuttle service is amazing, comfortable and on time. I used the service from Kowloon Station and the ride took about 20min to reach the hotel due to the narrow one way streets in Hong Kong that made it very inconvenient for cars to get around. We had to make many winding turns before reaching the hotel, that explains the 20min gap from the Station to the Hotel. Upon arrival, services like taking care of your luggage and opening doors for you are part of the expected overall experience package. To enhance the experience, this hotel has a very interesting service, free service, where they had a smartphone with free WiFi and IDD calls waiting for me in my room. Totally free of charge. I used this phone to the max. i.e. Google Maps, looking for deals nearby and never had to worry about getting lost anymore. This is my third visit to Hong Kong and I was able to get around comfortably while connected, this service should be made available worldwide!! Rooms are extremely well maintained and the chambermaids too do their jobs proficiently. Location too is convenient, 5 mins walk to Olympic Station and about 15 mins walk to Langham Mall. There's a McCafe opposite the hotel and the nearest supermart (Wellcome) is to the right of McCafe, about 5 mins down. There are various 'cha chaan tengs' around Dorsett Mongkok too if you are looking for the authentic Hong Kong breakfast/tea-time experience. Breakfast sets go as low as HKD28. Cafe de Coral is just around the corner too, so is 759 Store. Apliu Street is also 20 mins away by the green mini bus, just outside Wellcome. If you are going back to Dorsett Mongkok from Star Ferry Pier (Tsim Sha Tsui), Bus 1/1A along Nathan Rd. does the trick, or go to China HK City Ferry for the shuttle. Otherwise, walk to Ashley Rd. for minibus 3 and request to get off at Tai Kok Tsui Rd. Overall, I'm impressed with this hotel and I would definitely book with Dorsett Mongkok once more.

The hotel is located near the Olympian MTR station, just 5-6 minutes walk from the stataion. Actually I didn't want to stay a hotel located in Tsim Sha Tsui(because I dont like crowded place). So, it was perfect choice for me to stay here. It could be confusing to find at first time, but if you get it once it's so easy to get there. The room was outstanding. My mom loved this hotel so much. Everyting in the room was so clean and cozy. The bathroom was also very clean and comfortable to use. This hotel is not a big one, which has just 32 rooms in the same floor. But the staying was so satisfying, especially for my mom. It was my first trip with my mom, and the hotel made our travel wonderful. The staff at the hotel was so kind and helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel if you dont care about the location.(It's just no prblem to go the pupular spot because the MTR takes you to everywhere you want!) Already miss Hongkong and the Olypian Hongkong hotel.

This hotel is located in a great spot. You have McDonalds and 7/11 close by should you need it. Olympic station is close by, a few mins walk away. There's a great gym inside Olympic City mall called waterfall. There's tons of traditional Cantonese food on Ivy st, next Street up. Mong Kok is about a 5 minute walk away. As for the cons, the water temperature in the shower was very hard to adjust. It would either be too cold or too hot. The bathroom is quite narrow and not overly spacious. I did stumble across ants in my room. Otherwise staff were quite polite and friendly. The cleaning ladies were wonderful too. All in all, you get what you pay for. If all you require is a place to sleep, then this place is perfect. I could occasionally hear the hot water system being used from the room next door, but otherwise sound proofing was pretty good, especially so considering the construction works taking place across the road. All in all, good value for money.

The condition of the room is clean & the beds are very comfortable. It is exactly the same like what was described. There is a lady who comes every morning to do house keeping. FOC water bottles are provided daily. The location is quite strategic. It's very near to Austin MTR station and 10 minutes walk to Jordan street which has a lot of nice restaurants for good food. There's a very nice dim sum shop called "DimDimSum" just located on the next street. Inn Square even gave us clear directions on how to reach the location. Overall, we had a good night staying here.
