Large and clean room. There're a lot of bars and restaurants near the hotel.
The hotel clerks are very warm and friendly. The room is clean and large enough. The location is the center of Wan Chai, where there're a lot of tourists now. You can find good restaurants and bars easily. It is said that Wan Chai was the former red light district. And there're many touts of night clubs now. But you don't have to worry about it. Wan Chai is very safe area till mid-night now. I'll stay here again.

Convenience on Steroids
Location, Location, Location!
No negatives that I can think of.
The Metropark Wanchai is a perfectly situated hotel for location and convenience. The rooms are reasonably sized with high speed internet accessibility. It is convenient for both business and pleasure travelers and reasonably priced. Just a walk out the hotel front door and you can find just about anything ie restaurants, coffee houses, bakeries, even a foot reflexology center right across the street. The MTR (HK subway system) is about 2 blocks down, which will take you virtually all over Hong Kong. The lobby of the hotel is clean, neat, fresh, and there is a small coffee bar service available - perfect for meeting vendors/clients. They have an excellent Western & Asian breakfast for about $89 HKD ($11 USD) but you can also order eggs to taste. The staff is friendly and courteous and bend over backwards to be helpful. I stay there every time I go to HK and have never had a complaint.

Metropark Hotel review
Very Modern and newly renovated Close to Trade Fair and exhibition centre
small rooms expensive dining no free internet - they charge absorbant rates for internet
although the metropark has been newly renovated with a very modern feel to it the only other benefit of staying there will be that it is close to the trade fair and exhibition centre. the rooms are very small and the bathrooms even smaller in comparison to similar hotels. the internet is expensive - 80 hk$ per day. only to use in your hotel room... double surcharge if you want to use internet in the lounge. dining menu also extremely expensive - 240hk$ per meal. the beds are extremely hard!

Small rooms
I only stayed one night here but my impression of the hotel is that the rooms are quite small. Location wise ok for those looking for pubs but nothing much around for those not into the drinking scene.

Great Central location
Very efficient staff. Got an unexpected upgrade to a bigger room; very clean & chic. Great for the business traveller as near the Admirality MTR, convention centre. Surrounded by lots of great resturants, both high-end and small local eateries. Also walking distance to the Lyric theater.
Should provide complimentary internet services.
For the business traveller, this is a great locale. Near the corporate district of Wan Chai, Central. The Admirality MTR is only 5mins walk away, and so makes commuting around very convenient. Plus a great base for those in town to catch shows at the theaters in HK.
