clean, no fuss hotel near nathan road
Location. in Mong Kok Area near shopping, MTR, Ladies Market, Nathan Road.
no wifi in rooms but available in the lobby
What I liked about this hotel is it's no fuss, clean, simple rooms. There is no carpet so there its less likely to smell stuffy. Basic toiletries are provided. There is a restaurant downstairs so if you're craving, it re really convenient. It has a nearby McDonalds (15min walk). Near shopping areas Nathan Road, Ladies Market, Langham Place.

Affordable price with comfortable nights
Hotel-quality service (3 star) with a highly affordable price plus cozy room; shared bathroom is maintained well - no inconvenience of using it; quiet location (located in residential area) -> low price level around hotel; convenient transportation compensates relative aloofness from the main landmarks
Very kind at check-in, but rather unkind at check-out (I don't know why..), Other hotels has shuttles to Tsim Sa Tsui area, but this hotel does not provide any; it's a cheap hotel, so you may not expect any brand-new/wonderful facilities there
If you are traveling alone with the purpose of shopping/sight-seeing, it is a perfect place for your stay. Agoda offers the cheapest price for this hotel, and it is less than twice the price of guesthouses in Chunking/Mirado Pensions. I do not recommend staying in these guesthouses because it sometimes provide a smelly, uncomfortable rooms with noisy surroundings. In contrast, Anne Black provides a safe, comfortable room that is highly affordable for lone travelers.

Good location
maintained good
A little bit old furniture
This place located in nice to trip in Hong Kong. Very decent price and decent service and amenity. But do not go for your honey moon. It is definately no romantic hotel.

Very clean room and nice staff
clean, guest-friendly, near city play ground, almost complete furniture
no cable and wifi
you can eat at many resturant nearby. you can go in and out of the hotel at anytime of the day and the staff will know about the whereabouts. 3 star guest house- even though it was not that big, it has telephone that we could use to call internationally and the reception for any questions we may have. there was a TV although there were no cable, there is one channel that we could watch. well it is not that big deal since you are off to spend the day out of the hotel for sightseeing.

Value for money..
Very clean and well maintained
Location a bit far from MTR
Value for money. The shared bathroom is clean and well maintained. And the environment around the hotel is nice, not as crowded. Good place to relax if you plan for a slow paced trip. A bit far from MTR, requires some walking. To reach the hotel economically from airport, take bus A21 to Sinocentre followed by taxi.

Noisy and sleepless in Hong Kong
Staff was helpful
Noisy, people slamming doors at night, traffic noise from the street
I find it difficult to sleep with all the noise at night. People were getting in late at night and slamming their doors.

Convenient location, standard small size HK rooms.
Cheap, clean and quiet.
No wifi / internet in the room. Free wifi at cafe below
this hotel is very basic and clean if you are just going to spend the nite in transit or for short biz trips without the frills of any normal hotels. Location is good, near MTR station (Yau Mah Tei), plenty of food just down the street.

Basic facilities but clean and tidy
Good rates, clean and sizable room, and close to shopping
No Internet access
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room is basic but clean. The hotel is within walking distance to Mongkok (closer) and Yau Ma Tei MTR stations. You can also walk to the Mong Kok East Station and take the train to the New Territories. This is certainly not a hotel for romance but a very practical one for laying your head after a day of fun and shopping.

Not the best option
Located relatively close to MTR
Old and smelly
I guess for the price you could expect something like this in HK. Its a truly expensive city to visit, and to find a decent accomodation is extremely difficult. We stayed at 4 different hotels in HK, pretty much the same. The furniture in the rooms is very old, also there was a very disturbing smell in the room that would not go away even after leaving the windows open for the whole day. We also hated the communal washroom concept. The rooms were clean though, and the location is not too bad, about 15 minutes walk to the nearest MTR station.
