Affordable and accessible!
Spacious, clean and affordable.
Y-loft is located at Chai Wan(last stop of the MTR line), right beside the MTR station, however due to the fast and efficient MTR system, location does not pose much of a problem. The location is not as crowded as the central areas yet we can reach Central in 30mins' time. You can take A12 which stops right at the doorstep of Y-loft (purchase ticket at the airport @ $45), trip will take 80min but there is wifi on board the bus. There's a direct bus to Stanley which is scenic getaway from the usual bustling HK citylife. The rooms are spacious and clean, they provide towels and body shower, you just need to purchase toothbrush and tooth paste, additional shampoo (if required). Y-loft has fast internet access in the room, with microwave, laundry and even gym at the common areas, all-inclusive hostel for big groups or couple trips. Will definitely recommend to everyone who is looking for a frills-free trip!

Economic stay in Hong Kong
location, staff, cleanliness
Our stay at Y-Loft Youth Square was great. Two main advantages of this place are its location (next to the MTR metro line stop) and its price. The price was not cheap if you compare it to some other places, but it was cheap for Hong Kong. In terms of location, yes you have to spend time riding metro to get to places (between 20 and 30 minutes depending on where you are going in Central Hong Kong), but the trains are frequent and convenient, and hotel is basically adjacen to the station. There were no dining options at hotel, but there were plenty at the mall next door. We ate out in the city, though. Staff was very attentive, even as their English fluency fluctuated from person to person. Rooms were spacious enough (on Hong Kong scale). We had two large suitcases in the room and found space to store our stuff. Rooms were really clean. This hotel has a bit complicated layout inside, but once you learn how to navigate there, you are fine. Lifts/elevators are are large, numerous and fast. Where we stayed it was quiet, even though busy roads are not far. Some taxi drivers either do not speak English well or do not know about this place, so it helps to have the hotel address with you and also to have a map handy where you can point to the hotel. From the metro station there are numerous signs. It is exit A from metro.

Nice youth hotel
easy transport, reasonable price, convenience
Overall nice hotel with reasonable price and facilities. Room of improvement for cleanliness of things like bed ware cover. Torn towel was provided. Easy transport with only 3 mins walk to the MTR station and is located next to the bus stops with buses directly to airport and other price. A very good choice for travelers with low budget.

Overpriced hotel but this is normal in HK
Wifi, clean room.
Below average stay in an overpriced hotel. Surprised to find out they don't provide free water, toothpaste/toothbrush or even shampoo for a USD 170 per night room. We were awaken very early by the sound of some kind of water pumping machinery or similar, the noise had not stopped by the time we checked out. Location is far from tourist attractions, but easily reachable by MTR. I will not consider this hotel again.
