Shame about the bedrooms and bathrooms
Staff friendliness . Pool area . Free Wifi in restaurant/pool area
OK . Bedrooms and bathrooms in serious need of a revamp . I don't think it would need to cost much but the baths just have to come out ! More ambient lighting would really help the cause .New cabins being built around pool so hope these are good as the hotel could really do with a revamp

Not a value for money stay
Only one thing is food and restaurant.
Simply saying the stay is not worth for the money we paid. The hotel is not at all a 3 star as we have expected and the photos shown in the site are outdated. Toilets/ bath are not cleaned properly. I have wrongly informed by the hotel staff that the beach is only 5 minutes walk, but actually it is 45 minutes from the hotel. The food was good and that's the only part we liked about this hotel. Surely you can get a better hotel in this area...

LOCATION - The Location of the Hotel is pretty good.... AMBIENCE - overall ambience is good.... Value for Money - OK
Qualified receptionist / administrator available from 7.30 to 5.00 PM only.. rest of the time nobody at the reception.. you have to struggle to get even room keys ( only One Person Pasco , who is part time chef , part time receptionist and rest of the time attendent ) is there... Taxis are very very expensive.. Hotel discourages you to go out for dinner although Martin's Restaurant is not very far.. they give wrong information about distance... When we were there , there was raining... restaurant is in another property almost 100 mtr away ( this information is not given anywhere).. there were no room service .. no umbrella provided to go to restaurant.. you have to take dinner in wet condition..MOST IMPROTANT - NO HOT WATER IS AVAILABLE FROM TAPS.. SINCE THEY HAVE SOLAR HEATER WHICH IS INADEQUATE IN SIZE, SO IN CLOUDY ATMOSPHERE.. YOU HAVE TO TAKE BATH WITH CHILLED WATER.. HOT WATER 2 BUCKETS WERE PROVIDED ON INSISTNECE FOR 4 PERSONS IN 2 ROOMS...FEEL LIKE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF STAYED AT OTHER PLACE...

Resort review
Hard to find 3 best things
It was a family reunion. So it was a good experience . But hotel choice was a mistake due to below points: 1. It is not near to sea. You have to walk (15 min)through nasty paddy field( cannot think of going there at night ) 2. Room condition is not upto the mark- micro size TV, broken dressing table, broken fridge, change of towel only in alternate days and no complementary water bottle( even the charge is higher than market). 3. For renting a scooter, you need to face the demand supply formula I.e. no fixed charge .. It will vary everyday( in higher side). 4. Breakfast is complementary but only two options( beard omlet and aloo patatha) which is disgusting to have everyday. 5. Even though rooms are not occupied , you have to pay extra money to extend your stay for 2-3 hrs based on your return flight timing. Nearest happening place (colva beach) is 20 min ride and if you have bigger family with you then you have to spend 700-800 per day to hire a car for drop off and pickup. It is better to stay in a hotel near colva beach or try out nanu resort which is in the same location as Alagoa but just beside the sea.
