Bad Days at Hotel Surya
Very Uncomfortable. Rooms were small compared/cramped to what was shown by you over Internet.No Place to keep Luggage/No proper cupboard/no place to move around in room. Staff are Untrained and the Owner Runs the Hotel with no professionalism. Since The Hotel gets lot of Foreign Customers due to Internet booking he feels the right to Serve them But gives no service to fellow. We were Treated like as If had No Business to come to His Hotel.Huge delay in getting stuff ordered so much that at on 1st Day we walked out of Restaurant and ate outside. On Holi Day The Hotel served Beer free to Foreign Guests. In all Very Poor Treatment Given to Customers who were staying at the Hotel.

A relaxing stay at an historic hotel
Historical hotel, staff, rooms with balconies
Hotel Surya was fantastic. The main building is apparently 200 years old. There is an air of British Raj to this historic hotel in this holy city. If you are bothered by the wear around the edges of this venerable hotel, then you might like the Holiday Inns at every Interstate off ramp in America.

Great Restaurant
The room I stayed in at this hotel has definitely seen better days. Tired & in much need of some repairs & maintenance. The al-a-carte restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices. WIFI was chargeable & intermittent.
