Nice hotel, but quite old
Pool, view, location
pool costs extra, about day, no available sunbeds during daytime. nice restaurants, and also easy access to subway and within walking distance to some parts of central tokyo.

"Westerner"-hotel with large rooms (for Japan)
large rooms
For a hotel that calls itself "International", I find it still quirky that they close most restaurants at 9pm with last order at 8:30pm. I mean even for Japan, this is 2011 and not 1988 anymore... Also don't forget to bring your travel adaptor if you come from anywhere except USA. Also, they charge for using the hotel pool!

Great location and facilities
loction, value for money
Good location, reasonable price per night, staff kind and friendly (however all Japan they are). Standrt Rooms are fine but not outstanding, in the past i have stayed at DLX room that was amazing, resturant are very expensive.

Well appointed room and helpful and friendly staff
Location
nice corner twin room of a good size particularly in japanese terms. would have thought free internet would be included in room rate. lovely view of gardens and tokyo cbd from 19th floor of garden tower. staff spoke good english and were happy to assist. good room service meal. taxi about 2000 yen from tokyo railway station. in summary, excellent facilities and service close enough to cbd

The best service in a long time
Everything was professional
a five star hotel with everything you would expect, but unfortunately as the japanese society at large, also the staff was too bad on the english language.

Excellent hotel in great location
Location
Excellent location near multple subway lines. Very helpful staff. Great selection of resturants both in the hotel and nearby. Very clean and good sized rooms all at very competitive prices. I would recommed the New Otani Hotel to anyone planing either a business trip or a family holiday in Tokyo. Regards.

Good Sized Room
Lovely Garden
the size of the room at the hotel was really good. breakfast was not included and was a little expensive. the japanese garden is a great place to take some photographs. we travelled to the major shopping areas by taxi and found this to be expensive. tour agent in the lobby was very helpful.

Hotel with great garden
Lovey garden, close proximity to stations and Akasaka shopping streets
Overall, this is a pretty good hotel even though it has a long history and heritage. Rooms at the garden wing is decent and of old decor and structure, not as new and contemporary as the rooms at the main wing, but you get the full view of their 400 yr old garden. Breakfast was crappy at the price they charge, and swimming pools are additional charged as well.
