Not a happy sleepover customer
Not up to 5 star hotel expectations
Check in Grand Waldo on 11/10/10 and stayed overnite. 1. WC not flushing completely, leaving a water pool. Was rectified after calling house keeping. But we had to go out & not stay in the room. 2. On 12/10/10 Not a comfortable sleep over when awaken twice and rang front desk 2.30am & 3am. 3. Staff not responsive enough. 4. Next morning, the running water not clean (yellow & with sand).

Not a convenient located hotel
Room is clean and comfortable
Casino is small. Breakfast is no good.
Looks like this hotel is doing some upgrade. Food quality is bad. It is in a remote area of the island and is hard to find restaurant near by.

Hotel accommodation not bad, front desk not all ca
Quite comfortable to stay in although not many choices of TV programmes provided as the drama or show keep repeating for week days stay there, which is quite boring as resting time nothing to watch.
No transport from and to airport, and no shops around the hotel, like Grand Libsoa in center of macau. TV programmes not entertainment for customers stay in Superior room since the show/drama repeated at least twice a day and on week days. Only drama from mainland and HK drama or Taiwan drama very rare.
Not all front desk staff for checking in are well versed in English and dont quite understand what their customer want. At least one of the man staff there who is very helpful when asking for direction to places of interest, which he goes to the extend to circle the places of interest on the map and telling us they are within wallking distance to go to some places of interest. Stay is relaxing and tiring as the hotel shuttle bus service only go to ferry terminals, which only applied to China/HK citizens who know where to go, but other travellers from Singapore or others may not able to make use, and no local bus service around the area, but only taxis. Food are not too bad, just that lunch hours have to wait for seats or waitress to attend and when ask, their attitude not that good in attending to their customers, all they said cannot help it and just wait as they are very busy now.

Grand Waldo Hotel,
Clean, nice, cheapest five-star hotel in town, nice breakfast buffet
We only stayed one night in Macau and this hotel was the cheapest or rather, best value for money, five-star hotel we could find online... Over-all, the hotel was nice... very clean, nice amenities, nice service... the free breakfast was also ok... However, the hotel is quite far from the main Macau attractions i.e. Senado Square, St. Paul ruins, etc... It is also away from all the other casinos/hotels such as the MGM grand, Wynn, Grand Lisboa, etc... The upside is it is pretty close to the Venetian Hotel and the City of dreams...

Macau Trip
Impressive hotel interior and clean room
Overall, we felt it's value-for-money..superb location - opposite of the hotel is the Venetian and the upcoming new resort. The free bus shuttle service is convenient for travellers to get around.

Stay here and see the Venetian
Clean and comfortable and cheap
This is a great place to stay, 5 mins from the Venetian and 1/3 of the price. You can just catch a taxi there and back for a few dollars. The hotel itself if clean and tidy and has a great pool. There is a casino on the premises if you need it and very friendly staff.

Grand Waldo
very friendly and approachable staff
its a bit far from Macau island
Although its quite far from the Macau Island - the bus shuttle system is great and takes us into the city throughout the day. we had a very pleasureable stay = the staff were very welcoming and advised us on where to go for a night out and recommended places to eat. the hotel pool is also very big and spacious, and a lot of fun.
