Worst resort stay ever!
mini zoo
The drive to Tanjung Leman was long. When we finally arrived, we had to pay for ferry tickets, conservation fee and jetty fee which amounted to RM95 per pax. When we reached the resort, it was quiet and lifeless. The pool was small and pathetic. We reached at 4.30pm and the pool was closed for maintenance. Our rooms(booked 3 rooms)were old, run down and musty. The beds and pillows were stained, dusty, pillows were too soft. The TV, only two channels were clear out of 6-7 channels. The toilet door was not working, the water coming out from the tap was yellow. There were cobwebs on the ceilings, the curtains hanging loose, floors didn't feel clean. My sister's room's a/c was not working. We requested for a change of rooms as we were very unhappy with the rooms but front desk insisted that they will repair the necessary. There was only one restaurant so we had no choice but to eat there. Dinner was RM58+++ per pax and the spread was pathetic! We insisted for change of rooms after dinner and front desk finally relented. Unfortunately, the new rooms were not any better, in fact our toilet was the worst, toilet bowl heavily stained, holes in walls, problem with toilet doors, same dusty and musty beds and pillows, our back door looks like it will fly with one strong nudge of the arm that we placed a chair against it for safety. The trash bin was filled with trash from previous guests. There was nothing much that we can do around the resort. We booked for 2 nights but we were traumatized by the rooms that we decided to check out the following morning after breakfast although we lose one night charge, rooms were not refundable but we couldnt stay there for one more night even after that long drive and overpriced ferry tickets. Overall, the resort was very poorly maintained, the service and the rooms were overpriced, DEFINITELY not 4 star quality. One thing for sure, we will NEVER come back to the resort ever again.

Sandy beaches Do not go to the beach after the rain..i was bitten by sandflies...took me 2months to recover Should have buggy to sent the hotel patrons to their room because the its quite far and hilly for me and 2 toddlers Food is so-so, not so many choice and a bit pricey since there are no other alternative eating place except the coffee house..bring ur own food or snacks.. Love the activities they offered for kids Love the petting zoo

Nice gateaway
The beach,
The resort has issues in housekeeping. The room where i stayed was disgustingly dirty. The underneth of tables and probably bed has accumulated dust that is so thick that you may think it never cleaned for years. The pillows are old and awfully smelled so dont want to rest your head even if the pillow case were clean. The most disgustiing is the toilet, the seat underneath has renmants of s&$@. The tiles are slimey and the fixtures are rusty and old. There is no wifi in the room. Difinitely not worth the price even at a discount. The good thing is the beach, the one at the end of the walkpath is nice and private.

Overall conditiuon
Nice & comfortable Serindit Suite.
I'm been here last weekend, only have few people approx 30 pax (maybe because of Hari Raya). We seldom see people appeared when we walked around the resort and beach. I can say, it seem like I had booked the whole island. The water is clean, sand is white, environment is quite because only us. This is a good place if you do not like crowded people. Due to less people, we had privilege to upgrade the room without additional charge, and no time limited on equipment rental for water activities. Room Condition: Superior Room condition is very bad, dirty, poor utilities and poor wireless signal due to located far behind. After complained, we were entitle to upgrade to Serindit Suite, nice comfortable and clear. We strongly recommend you to go for this room. Dining/Breakfast: There is only one restaurant for you. Normally breakfast is included together with room booking, acceptable meal serves. Dinner is a-la-carte as per menu book, tourist price rate. But you can add on money to include buffet dinner during room booking. Location: Easy access from Jetty Tanjung Leman by ferry, with routine schedule 9am, 11.30am & 4pm. RM70 2way per person. Once you missed the ferry, you may offered for speed boat, RM220-250 per way trip (max 12 person per boat). Approx 20-30mins from Jetty to Sibu Island. Staff performance: Overall is moderate service performance. Value for money: Answer is No. Moderate goods & service with premium price. Thanks

Quiet getaway
Peaceful, private and beautiful.
Pros - Peaceful and private island for a getaway. Deers and komodo dragons roam freely, giving a very unique feeling to the place. Cons - Not a lot of activities. Only 1 restaurant and provision shop with steep prices. Only source of food comes from the resort itself. Overall, we found the place to be acceptable. Bad first impression as bed was infested with beg bugs, even after changing the bed sheet twice. Itched all over. Offered a larger room and everything went breezily afterwords. Food was another problem as we had to depend solely on the resort. I advice to bring your own food before the ferry As we visited on a weekday, it was very quiet. Was told that the weekends are when the crowd comes in. Mostly of company events and staycations.
