Continues to be one of the best hotels in Bacolod
I have stayed at Avenue Suites many times and it continues to be one of the best hotels in Bacolod, especially for the price. I have 2 young children so the deluxe room with 2 double beds is perfect for a family of 4. The staff are friendly and attentive and the hotel is clean and presentable. The rooms are larger than the average size for Bacolod hotels which again is a plus. One final point, just a few metres to next to the hotel (turn left out of the front door) is an excellent Japanese restaurant called L'Kaisei, great food at a very good price.

Overall, very satisfactory
My only complaint would be the lack of adequate parking space, but everything else was quite nice!

Motel feel
The look, design and smell of the hotel feels like a motel. You can also hear vehicles along Lacson Street.

Expensive and not worth the money
Booked a standard room online. Upon arriving it didn't have a window and was poorly laid out. Asked to upgrade. They charged full difference of published rate and Agoda rate. Hotel isn't guest friendly, very profit oriented.

Not going back
No complimentary iron/ironingh board, you have to pay 100 pesos for 30 min Bathroom drainage stinks On the other hand, its good value for your money, cheap, and location is accessible to a lot of establishments.

Business Hotel Type
The hotel don't have any mini ref inside the room. We had to upgrade to have a "chiller" for us to put the milk of our baby. This is a business hotel, not suitable for vacation feel.
