Value for money”

Bataan was our last stop on our Vigan-Laoag-Bataan roadtrip before heading back home to Manila. The Plaza Hotel was by far the best hotel we've stayed throughout the 4day trip. The room was big (well, maybe because they have upgraded our room). Buffet breakfast was good as well. The hotel is located at the center of the city, there was even a mall nearby so looking for a place to dine or having a cup of coffee would not be a problem. The WIFI was fast! But its location can be also a disadvantage as we had a difficulty looking for a parking space. The bathroom, I think, is poorly designed. There was water everywhere as they do not drain properly.

Clean, Convenient Location, Comfortable Stay!”

We had an awesome stay at the hotel. The location was central, literally center of the Balangga Square! The location provides food options and shops nearby. We had no problem getting a parking space (you may also request to reserve once via the hotel). The staffs were friendly and accommodating. The best of all is that the room is spacious and very comfy. We definitely enjoyed our stay! Plus breakfast was nice, try their Bataan Tinapa!

Honestly, we only went to Balanga for this hotel. Everything else was secondary. But the trip was worth it. The place is as stunning in real life as it is in pictures. Walking around the plaza was like being in a little bubble that transported you to Europe. Add to the ambiance the amazing staff and we got an absolutely awesome vacation. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I'm already missing the country style tapa at The Plaza Brew.

I really love everything about The Plaza Hotel Balanga. I just want to stay here again. The place is so amazing because of the architectural icon. It made me fall in love. I had fun staying in this hotel because I appreciated everything. Double thumbs up. Excellent

Location at its best”

The best thing really about The Plaza Hotel is its location. it is in the heart of activities happening in Balanga. This Balanga Plaza was the exercise ground, good area to watch the xmas decor, surrounded by restaurants and shopping area. Market is also nearby to buy their home grown goods, e.g., tinapa, tuyo, kakanin- tangway & lansong. The municipal hall is at your left if facing the hotel for any issuesyou might encounter

Presentable but lacks parking space..”

.. hotel rooms is very ok, location is very ok because near plaza but expect traffic on the area.. lacks parking space.. if your always in and out of the hotel to tour Bataan then expect that you will not have a parking area if you return..

Small Hotel, Grand Service, Central Location”

I liked the fact that the hotel only has 34rooms. It provided a somewhat intimate ambience. The facade was also a sight to behold, esp at night and allowed for us to relax by the plaza grounds. Our room was a little dated but kept very clean and was spacious considering the price point. The service was also impeccable as the staff and front office were always quick to help and did it with a smile. They also did not discriminate even as we were local guests. Some big hotel chains tend to favor foreign guests over locals. The Plaza was a wonderful exception in its showing us top-notch service. I would most definitely stay here again.

Best location, Friendly Staff”

This is the best location to check in if you will stay in Balanga because it's exactly in the Plaza. There's a mall beside it and a lot of fast foods and cafes around. The tricycle and bus terminals are also nearby. The staff greeted us politely everytime and assisted us with all our needs. The breakfast were delicious as well. Thanks, we had a great stay!

Hotel was really nice. Staff gave us an excellent service. The problem is with parking. There's not enough parking for hotel guest. It's our first time and we have to go in and out the hotel so we can explore Bataan. They only have few slots which can also be used by non-hotel guest. You will be advised to use the paid parking which will make you pay whenever you go in and out.

Good Location for business in Balanga.”

If you're in Balanga or area for business, you can't beat the Plaza. There is a shopping mall next door and restaurants nearby and at the hotel. I only downgraded the facilities slightly because they're remodeling the ground floor and the hot water wasn't always hot.

A Boutique Hotel which needs improvement in taking care of their PWD guests”

Location wise and value for money is rated 5. Parking though is difficult as location is in front of balanga plaza. Staff are courteous but need to improve on customer empathy. I have a PWD son and it was difficult giving him a bath without a pail and dipper. Requested from them these two items the first night, the next morning, the night of our second day and finally the morning of our last day of stay. Not one of the 3 reception attendants went the extra mile to provide for my son with special needs. It was only when I pointed out their lack of empathy that they finally gave me what I requested. Too late though as I bought my son his own dipper and make shift pail. They call themselves a boutique hotel which supposedly provides 'more personalized ' service to their guests but sadly lacking here.Also suggested that if they change internet passwords, they must have the courtesy to Inform their guests accordingly. Their brochure states that wifi is free and not "available by request".

Location is perfect”

This hotel's location is the bomb!!! it's in the very heart of Balanga City, very accessible to convenient stores food stalls and the market. I love how peaceful the sorroundings are and How the staff is very friendly as well. There's only one thing I'd like to raise, for housekeeping please do always check on your guests if they have received their requests. sometimes it takes about 2 follow up calls to the reception area to grant the request. But over all it was fantastic!!! ♥️

Good location At the center of Balanga Plaza. There is church in front of hotel. Fast foods nearby. Hotel Restaurant offers variety of foods, prices not to expensive. Yummy donuts on sale at 50% off from 6pm onwards.. There are also yummy cakes starting at Php450 for the whole cake.. Limited parking slots.

Every time iv tried to stay here, it was always unavailable, so I was lucky to get 2 nights here now, from the front desk to the breakfast staff, everyone was superb, our room was clean and comfortable, the location was also excellent, intact it's probably the best location in town, I'd throughly recommend here if staying in balanga

Great place, bad location for tourists.”

This was a great stay for us. The staff was nice, the hotel beautiful and we felt safe the whole time. I have it a poor location eating because balanga city is basically in the middle of no where... It is well located I the town but we had to take bus rides everyday to go to beaches and other sites and even those were few or far between.

Nice Value Hotel”

Great central location in Balanga, For the price -- the room, bed, and bathroom is definitely value for money! Modern TV as well so we were able to plug a USB stick and play media directly. It also has a huge selection of cable channels. We also got upgraded to a room with a view overlooking the Church. Other than that, no other facilities but we weren't looking for anything else. Only problem is the park-at-your-own-risk hit-or-miss parking availability in front of the hotel/city hall. Breakfast is at the cafe in the ground floor which serves Filipino and Continental breakfast. Not the biggest portions but good food.

Hotel smack dab in Balanga”

It's a nice hotel to be in paseo balanga. The hotel is one of the structures which comprises the circle. Nice place and nice room. Our hotel stop before we proceed to Las Casas.

Excellent Staff Service & Great Location”

Our overnight stay here was excellent. Highlight of our stay was the excellent service provided by the Hotel staff. They were very courteous, respectful, fast service and they are also very accommodating. The hotel is located in the plaza of the town where grocery stores are beside it along with the church in front and many fast food chains in front and back of it. The bus terminal is just a few miles away and is easily accesible by the local tricycle or ride. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money with an outstanding service.
