room is not very clean, cold water, good amenities
the view of the lake and the amenities of the hotel are pretty good
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and on start we had problems because we arrived by car around 11 pm and the gate was locked and no one would come to the door, despite our best attempts to scream and buzz. We had to jump over the gate to go around the property and find someone. Then we room wasn't very good, the mattress quite uncomfortable, and no hot water. We found a massive coackroach on the sealing on the second night. Another problem was with the boat. I asked if we had to pay for the boat to get to the volcano and the asnwer was no. Then to our surprise, when the bill came, they were charging us 1500 pesos, which is ridiculous given the place was completely empty and we probably could have negotiated elsewhere for half the price. So be careful with their charges!!!!! The view of the lake is beautiful though! very peaceful.

Lovely grounds and an amazing view
The economy room doesn't have hot running water. Agoda have now been made aware of this and so hopefully will advertise it. The food was very disappointing. Pray that you don't have a group staying as we did who love to sing karaoke as you won't get much peace in the evenings.

Disasterville- my personal opinion.
Nicely finished outside of new part of the Hotel.
We took economy room and were put in the old part of the hotel. The outside door fit so poorly the ants, cockroaches and mosquitoes had free access to our room. Bring mosquitoe repeller. The unit was not plumbed at all for hot water. Showers were under a dribble of cold water. To get hot water you must get "Deluxe" or better room. Our room was an absolute bare-bones room. Don't believe this for a minute. Our room was an 11 X 11foot dump. The bed has an uncomfortable, thin mattress, and rattles when you move. There are no blankets on the bed to cover with, only a sheet. There is no fridge. They claim that it is a 4 star hotel. It is not even a 1 star. There is no beach and you cannot swim in the Lake because of polution. The hot tub by the pool has no water in it. Only debris. There is no internet. Food was mediocre. We paid for two nights but left after one. That was a good move.
